802 AD - May 20th, dawn, eclipse of moon.
806 AD - May 31st,cross appeared on moon.
806 AD - August 30th, Circle around the sun.
806 AD - Sept. 1st., eclipse of moon.
809 AD - July 16th, eclipse of sun.
829 AD - Dec.24th, eclipse of moon
879 AD - Eclipse of the sun.
891 AD - May, Comet appeared.(a long ray from it, sometimes on
----------one side, sometimes on every side.)
904 AD - Eclipse of Moon.
905 AD - Comet.
927 AD - Fiery lights in Northern sky.
962 AD - Plague? Described as (great mortality)
975 AD - Sept. Comet.
976 AD - Great Famine, disturbances? Throughout land.
979 AD - A bloody cloud of fire seen, at midnight, formed in
----------various shafts of light. At dawnn it dissappeared.
986 AD - Great cattle disease appears (Murrain)
995 AD - Comet
1005AD - Worst famine yet.
1014AD - Sept. 28th, Flood, huge tides.
1032AD - Wild Fire. Seems to have occurred before . Does great
----------damage all over?
1044AD - Great famine.
1046AD - Pestilence, Murrain.
1048AD - May 1st. Earthquake, Pestilence, Murrain,(wild fire)
1054AD - Cattle pestilence, (great).
1066AD - April 24th, Comet. Lasted one week.
1077AD - Eclipse of Moon, Wildfire (burnt homes and villages.)
1082AD - Famine year.
1086AD - Cattle plague, thunderstorms and lightening.
1087AD - Pestilence, high fever, famine.
1089AD - Aug. 11th, Strong earthquake,poor crops.
1095AD - April 4th, "There were seen nearly all over this
----------country nearly all night very many stars falling from
----------the sky. Not ones or two’s, but so thickly that nobody
----------could count them. Poor crops." 1097AD - Oct. 4th, Comet(star) in the evening. South west. Ray
----------from it very long shone south east.One week.
1098AD - Summer; Berkshire, Finshamstead, pool of blood.
----------Nov.3rd or 11th, (new moon) huge tide.
----------Dec. Burning sky. Great rains all year.
1100AD - Birkshire, blood bubbling out of earth.
1103AD - Birkshire,Finchhamstead; blood coming out of the earth.
----------Cattle plagues
----------Aug.10th;Gales, high winds.
> 1104AD - June 5th; "4 circles all around the sun, of white color,
----------each entertwined under the other as if they were
----------painted."
1106AD - Feb.16th, South-West, an unusual star for 25 days.
----------"small and dark," ray from it bright,’north-east’then
----------it forked into many rays from an opposite direction.
----------"Some reported seeing more strannge stars."
----------March 21st, before day, 2 moons seen, one to the east,
----------one to the west, both full. The moon on that day was a
----------fortnight old. 1107AD - Various signs in the moon, its beams waxing a waning
----------contrary to nature.
1109AD - Terrible Thunderstorms.
1110AD - May 5th, night, "Moon appeared shining bright, then
----------little by little its light faded until early in the
----------night it was quenched entirely, so that niether light
----------nor circle nor anything was seen until nearly day,
----------then it appeared bright and shinning. It was a fortnight
----------old that day. All that night the sky was very clear,
----------and the stars all over the heavens shining very
----------brightly, bad frost that night"..
1110AD - June 8th, ‘a star appeared from the North East, its
----------beam went out in front in the South West. (3 weeks),
----------later in the night it was seen going backwards to the
----------Northwest. Storms all over that year.
1111AD - Severe winter, cattle plague.
1112AD - excessive plague.
1114AD - May (15-30th sometime); strange star with long rays.
----------great ebb tide. Thames, east of London bridge could be
----------crossed on foot or horse. strong winds in Oct.
1115AD - coldest winter, cattle plague.
1116AD - severe winter.
1117AD - Dec. 1st, Storms with thunder and lightening, rain and
----------hail.
----------Dec. 11th, the moon became all bloody and then was
----------eclipsed.
----------Dec. 16th, Night sky appeared very red.
----------Jan. 3rd, Earthquake in Lombardy, rains nearly all yr.
1118AD - Dec. 21st. Hurricane or gale.
1119AD - Earthquake, most severe in Gloucestershire and
----------Worcestershire.
1121AD - April 5th, eve of , moon was eclipsed. Moon was a
----------fortnight old.
1122AD - March 22nc, big wind, "After that came many signs far
----------and wide in England and many illusions were seen and
----------heard".
----------July 25th, Big Earthquake over all somerset and in
----------Gloucestershire.
----------Sept.8th, Big wind from 9a.m. till night.
----------Dec. 7th, Sailors at sea and on inland waters saw in
----------North-East a great and broad fire near the earth, it
----------increased in length continuously up to the sky’"and the
----------sky opened on four sides and fought against it, as if
----------it were going to quench it, and the fire increased no
----------more then up to the heavins." They saw this fire at
----------day break and it lasted til it was light everywhere.
1125AD - Aug. 10th, Flood, much damage.
1127AD - Feb.6th, People saw and heard hunters hunting, big,
----------black and loathsome and their hounds black, etc. They
----------rode black horses and goats. Horns(20 or 30 blowers)
----------blew at night. (This was attributed to the presence of
----------Henry of Poitou, a foul Abbot) 1129AD - Dec. 5th, Earthquake
1131AD - Jan. 11th, sky in the North was as if it was a burning
---------fire. That year almost all the annimals died in England.
1135AD - Partial eclipse (3 nights-old moon)
(1133) 1140AD - March 20th,Midday,eclipse of Sun.
