Why make a site dedicated to a piece of hardware that doesn't exist yet? Because I'm a Nintendo fan through and through; a "Nintendork" if you will (to use a term coined by Nintendo 64 Underground). With all of the excitement surrounding Sony's release of the next-generation Playstation's incredible system specs, Nintendo began to leak out tidbits of information on their own next-generation console. It seemed like a good time to begin collecting all of the information that was known at the time and archive in one place.

I'll be frank; you probably won't find much new on this site if you scour IGN64.com or Next Generation Online for the latest Nintendo news every day. A little guy like me doesn't have the resources to get much original information. What you will find, however, is all the news on Nintendo's new machine conveniently located in one place. You'll find editorials written by myself and readers (hopefully readers, that is) taking apart what we know and gauging its impact on the video game community. You'll find quick answers to those questions burning in the minds of those anticipating the next level of gaming with Nintendo. And you'll find that as we come closer to the release of the new Nintendo (whenever that may be), anticipation can increase only exponentially. Please note that this is a temporary site. Once we get closer to the release date, the news will be overwhelming, and I'll have to stop.

Hopefully, you'll visit regularly (not too often; there's only so much news after all) and offer your input. If you see that there's something incorrect, misleading, or missing let me know. All information here is credited to its source, so if you use some of the news here for your own site, make sure you note where it came from. Oh, and one more thing... Take it easy on me if the site kinda sucks. I don't have much time to maintain it, so you'll have to excuse a lack of graphical flair or the occasionally late news update. Otherwise, enjoy! It'll be a long wait...

Who I Am
Well, this isn't so important. I'm a Nintendo fan. That's all you need to know. But if you're curious, I'm a first-year student at Rutgers University, home of the Scarlet Knights. Though my goal right now is to finish a Computer Science/Mathematics double major, time (and grades) will tell if Math is going to stay.
