Recently I noticed a spate of viruses that seem very new and had a little trouble fixing them. After doing a bit of ground work I managed to get them cleaned up. While doing this I thought I could start posting the information for others to use. I hope you find this site helpful and pass it on to others, particularly if you suspect you may have already passed a virus on to others.

w32.magistr.24876@mm A virus that has e-mail worm capability. It is also network aware. This one can be very nasty. I do frequent Virus software updates but this one still got me. Ouch! This new Java Script worm will mail itself out to everyone in your address book and change your home page to a porn site. If you have an updated version of Norton Antivirus you should be safe from this one.
