31 Mar After arriving to the alpine town Franz Josef, we decided to take a half day hike (the steepest commercially guided hike in the world) on the glacier. Laura and I seem to be quite excited about that. |

After a 10 minute rainforest section we reached the front of the glacier. It seems so close but it was 3 kms away and it took us 45 mins to reach the actual glacier's front. |

Aaaaand off we go! Boots were provided and they SUCKED! Missed my own hiking boots very VERY much. |

Hiking in jeans... yes, I do it with style.... At times it was a bit difficult to climb as the jeans are not streching at all. |

|
Finally we reached the glacier and oh boy was it ever so WONDERFUL!!! Words cannot describe the feeling. It was so unreal. |

We just couldn't stop smiling! Our guide was Swedish and she seemed to know what she was doing :) |
