Cabooses
Updated 6/25/2009
The two Wyoming Valley cabooses are of the N6b style, introduced by the Pennsylvania Railroad.  The two models were built from undecorated kits by Walthers.  The decals on the steps say, "Wath Your Step."  I liked this style of caboose due to the high arched roof and slanted sides of the cupola.  Having wooden sides, different steps, and different windows make these distinctive from the Lehigh Valley Northeastern style of caboose.

With the exception of number 95067, all of the LV cabooses on this page were custom painted by me.  All of the cars are Life Like Proto 2000 Northeastern Cabooses.  The 95067 was a factory painted model.  The sources I used when researching these paint schemes came from a series of articles published in 1982 by the magazine,
Railroad Model Craftsman.  The August issue covered the Lehigh Valley versions of this caboose.  I also used the book, "CNJ/LV Color Guide to Freight and Passenger Equipment" by Craig Bossler and published by Morning Sun Books.
