| This bank kit was built from a Main Street Heritage kit. The detail and the castings are terrific in this kit. I built this kit as a branch bank of the structure that is located in Wilkes-Barre. The stone walls were painted using Pollyscale paints. First, the wall was painted reefer gray. Then, I randomly painted stones various shades of gray and brown. I used colors such as rust, roof brown, and SP dark lark gray. Then, I applied two coats of a mortar wash made from aged concrete. The final, and most important step, was to dry brush the wall with grimy black. |
