Hi Guys,  I hope you all survived the holidays.  We survived here and despite lagging sales, it looks like I will be here for yet another year (my 31st here at 401 Park Ave and 20th being exclusively slot cars!!)  As usual, some cool new stuff showed up here and more is on the way!

From NSR:  NSR cars all come storming out of the box!  The latest offering is not only fast but super good looking (my opinion) as well.  It is a Gulf liveried version of the Ford Mark IV that is spectacular looking though may not have actually existed.  It is hooked up with all of the usual NSR goodies and is $116.99.

From Slot it comes two very nice offerings.  The first is a Totip liveried version of the already successful Ferrari F40.  Like the red test car it is only available as a kit and is $54.99.

How many Slot It Mercedes is too many?   Apparently not three in one box.  This latest limited edition from Slot it features the 1st, 2nd and 5th place cars from Le Mans in 1989.  The three silver Mercedes are an awesome site in their custom box and promise to be even more awesome on the track.  The three car set is $179.99 and fairly limited.

From Scalextric comes high impact versions of Italy ’s answer to the Mini.  There are two versions of the Cinquicento from Scalextric.  The first is #C2934 and is dark red the second is # 2869  and is yellow.  $29.99 each.

In case you thought I didn’t carry enough brands of 1/32 cars (26 at last count) I have added one more.  Slot Power is the new maker in the store and the reason for carrying them are a pair of VERY cool and highly detailed Quad racers.  The quads feature a drop arm and are made to tackle obstacles like the Ninco Raid off roaders.  $43.00 in green or orange.  Clean AND dirty versions are available.  Order by color and clean/dirty.

Lastly a note on Professor Motor controllers.  I have been offering the Professor Motor 2111 which is a transistor (no resistor or diodes as in the past) controller best for use on cars which operate in the 14 to 19 volt range.  This covers most HO and 1/32 cars on positively wired commercial and club tracks and has an easy to use sensitivity dial and a brake dial.  The feedback from users has been all positive.  I now also stock the 2110 which is the same Platinum level transistor controller but in the lower 10-15 volt range which makes it a better controller for the 1/32 only racer, especially those who race no magnet cars in the 12 volt range.  $119.99.

I have decided to stay open on Sundays through January due to customer interest and Brian being available to help me in the store.  Hours on Sunday are 1-5 PM.  Thanks and see you soon.  Joe
