turn and that is a sure sign that Fall is in the air and soon we will all be in
our basements racing slot cars! Several
new rides and sets have recently come in.
From
Scalextric: Scalextric has released not one but two Dale Earnhardt Jr. NASCARs.
The first is the AMP green and white #88 Chevrolt Impala SS and they have
done an outstanding job on the body details.
This full interior car has the better handling sidewinder chassis
Scalextric changed most of their NASCARs over to a few years ago.
This is #C2895. This car is
in stock and is $47.99. Also
expected in the shop in the next few days is the #88 National Guard blue and
white cars also driven by Dale Jr. This
is # C2958 and is also $47.99.
Also in
is the C2910 Nissan Skyline GTR, "XANAVI" #22 which retails
for $47.99.
Two
nice looking 1/32 sets have also arrived from Scalextric.
The
first is the Classic GT set featuring two great Ford GT 40’s.
One is in Gulf livery and the other is a darker blue and orange paint
scheme. This is a T3 set and retails
for $209.99 (C1233T)
The
second is the American Champions set, A T2 set with a Ford Mustang and a Chevy
Camaro. This set #1232T is $189.99.
The T2 and T3 sets are nesting sets which can nest together to make a 4
lane layout.
Also in
from Scalextric is a Micro Scalextric (1/64) Ferrari set which would make a
great Christmas gift for only $49.99.
It comes with two Ferrari F430’s. More

Last, but certainly not least is a Spectacular Ford Mark IV from World
Champion NSR. This car was available in both covered and uncovered
headlight (sold out) versions. The covered light version is still
available. While the price is a very strong $115.99 it is probably the
best 'out of the box' race car available. Very limited supply.
