Hi
Guys, Things should start to pop
soon. Auto World is going to be
releasing a line of 4 gear Specialty chassis cars in October.
Tomy ‘should’ have their new chassis out this fall, which will mean
several new models including new versions of the GT40 with interiors.
Dash is going to be making AFX versions of their very successful AC Cobra
and the 1971 Racing Camaro.
What is
New in HO and available however are the 1969 Chevelle with stripes (body
only) from Dash Motorsports. There
is a nice selection of colors available at $10.99 each (see pic).
$10.99
For the
racer, I just go in a RTHO racing order and included are Rick’s new composite
front ends which feature nicely tooled brass weights low on the axle and nylon
rims. This arrangement still gets
the weight on the pin but is non rotating weight and offers a handling
improvement. $19.00.
All
RTHO tools and JW tools are now in stock.
Finally,
while not exactly HO, Carrera has released some nice 1/43 scale vehicles.
First come three ‘Batman’ cars. The
first of these is the Batmobile, again to Carrera’s credit they didn’t throw
the Tumbler car of 2007 back into the mix but gave us a very high fin version,
reminiscent of late 1990’s renditions. There
is a nice Joker car wearing a full white face grin in place of the front grill
and lastly a ‘Bane’ vehicle. Bane
is a Batman villain familiar to comic fans, and is nicely represented by his
vehicle. Also new from Carrera are
two pickup trucks which are also found in the Rebel thunder set ($59.99).
All 1/43 cars are $14.99 and the Batmobile and Bane cars come with
working headlights.
