Hi Guys,  As usual some new items in this week.  This time from manufacturers I haven’t carried before, or in quite a while.  I saved what I think is the coolest (not necessarily the best slot car) till last.

From Advant Slot (new manufacturer) comes two versions of the Audi R10 TDI car.  Both are silver with the #8 car having red head supports and the #7 car having yellow head supports as in the earlier Audi R8’s.  These are among the best no magnet cars made $64.99 each. #50103 is the #8 car which was the 2006 LeMans winner and # 50104 is the #7 car which was the 3rd place car.

From Spirit (I used to carry these but had some supplier issues, this is a new supplier) comes several cars.  First is a kit of the Dallara in white with lots of cool looking race parts.  Among them are aluminum wheels, special tires, a low profile guide and more.  $56.99 #300411

Also from Spirit is the Peugot 406 Silhouette “ESSO” car in blue and lime green.  Looking very much like the sleek Porsche 977 from Ninco, this beauty is $59.99 # 501105.

In the vintage vein comes a knockout BMW 2002 RAC Rally car ca 1973 in white and blue # 601301 $ 59.99

The last two items from Spirit are both Porsche 936’s. both from 1976.  The first is the LeMans car in the Martini livery #20, stock # 601401 driven by Jackie Icyxx and the second is from the same year but this car was the Nurburgring car #601402 $59.99 each.

From Fly comes a racing kit, not to be confused with their FasKits.  This is the BMW GTR in the Red Bull livery with allof the Fly racing goodies you could ask for.  In addition to all racing parts the kit features the new adjustable front axle.  $ 79.99 # 88303.

Saving the coolest till last brings me to a 1/43 set from Carrera.  This is the new Mario Kart set with the neatest Mario and Wario karts ever!  The fact that they are in 1/43 would make them super cool if raced on a 1/32 track.  The set comes with over 20 feet of track, cool stars on the track and very colorful Mario Kart guard rails.  $71.99

Till next time, Joe
