Job 26:7 What is a tornado? A tornado is a ferocious, violent, whirling wind. (column, funnel, tube) of rapidly spinning (winding) air in the shape of a cone with violent downdraughts, and winds that exceed 350 miles per hour, which stretches down from out of a thundercloud. The base of a tornado measures from around 100 feet across to one mile wide, it is smaller than, but more powerful and more dangerous than, the hurricane. The forming of a tornado. Tornadoes form when a column of cold air sinks down from a cumulinimbus cloud. The cloud is provided with fuel as warm, lighter, spinning currents of air which are drawn in at its base, rise up and around it spinning so rapidly that they stretch out from the base of the cloud forming a funnel which stretches downwards, or out across the sky, (spaghetti tornado) before it reaches down to the earth, and then, lifts itself back up again into the cloud, to disappear, after, it has reaped its havoc upon the earth. Tornadoes start out as light coloured clouds, but they are darkened as dirt and debris are sucked up, by, and into, the whirling mass. The United States of America. Tornadoes, or twisters as the Americans call them, are a common feature of the weather in "Tornado Alley" the midwestern plains of the United States of America. Hundreds of twisters happen in the USA during the spring and summer months. Ripping their ways across the land in abnormally erratic movements, always attached to their cloud, at speeds exceeding 300 miles an hour, noisy, roaring, gigantic vacuum cleaners (tornadoes) that suck up everything they touch, and which smell like rotting food, a smell, resultant from the lightning which is produced in the funnel, last from ten minutes to two hours, and die out when they run out of energy. Tornadoes forcefully hurl things about, they smash into buildings and cause crashing sounds and extensive, widespread destruction and damage. They rip houses off their foundations, and cause them to explode, they rip off doors and windows, and tear houses and buildings to shreds, they turn them into splinters, and fling the wood and the metals as lethal weapons in all directions throughout the air, and sometimes through the trunks of trees, whilst devastating the land. Cars, trees, birds, animals and also people have all been sucked up and into the air by tornadoes. A tornado that starts above a sea or a lake is called a waterspout. Waterspouts. Winding clouds of air with powerful updraughts stretch down from out of thunderclouds and suck up water from the surface of lakes and seas, whipping up huge amounts of spray it dumps tonnes of water upon the land. Fish, birds, frogs, and even boats have been sucked up and into the air by waterspouts. Waterspouts that pick up fish and frogs and birds, rain them back down over the land. Waterspouts are not as strong as tornadoes and they dont last as long. Water spouts and tornadoes are noisy. 7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Psalm 42:7 The approach of a tornado (waterspout) is signalled by the roaring sound of wind calling to the deep, a sound which increases in volume as the tornado (waterspout) gets closer.
