15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I
will make make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools. Isaiah 42:15

                                        15
I will make [chareb..cause to dry up, dry up, dry, parch, make waste,
lay waste, lie waste, waste, desolate, slay, kill, destroy, decay
] waste [har..mount, hill, range of hills,
  hill country, mountain
] mountains and [gibah..height, hillock, little hill, hill] hills, and dry up all, their
  [
eseb..herb, grass] herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools. Isaiah 42:15

Water falls upon, and soaks into the earth upon mountains and hills, and herbs and grasses spring up
from the earth on mountains and hills. Psalm 104:13..Isaiah 42:15

  Herbs and grasses (
plants) grow from seeds..Genesis 1:11,12..There are seeds in the earth upon
  mountains and hills.

Water dries up from the earth..Water continually dries up from the earth..Genesis 8:3,5..Water dries
  up from plants..Jonah 4:7..Matthew 13:3-6..Mark 4:3-6..Luke 8:5,6..James 1:11..Water dries up from
the earth on mountains and hills..Water dries up from
plants, (herbs and grasses) on mountains and
hills, and the plants wither, and their seeds fall to the ground.

And winds beat upon the mountains and hills, and break up the fallen
plants, and carry broken bits of plants and dust away. And rains fall
upon mountains and hills, and water seeps down into rocks and stones,
and the water freezes, and expands, and causes the rocks and stones
to break into pieces. And falling water flows over the mountains and
hills, and snow and ice flow over the mountains and the hills, and the ice
and snow and the flowing waters wash plants and rocks and stones and
dirt and gravel away, until finally the mountains and hills are wasted
and gone, and the earth becomes a plain.
