footsteps in my daily life
I played catch with K-san. Since there were only a few people in the rec-center (many people had gone out of town for vacation...), we were totally free to use the spacious basketball court! We could play catch to our heart's content without reserve. Afterward, while K-san was playing basketball with other people, I worked out, and then I ran into A-san there by chance.

Later, back in home, I talked to C-san. We kept conversing while C-san was strolling around in her hometown: I felt as if we were walking around the town together. It was a great fun!
All of a sudden, without any signs, my computer stopped working... I tried harder to repair the system, but I couldn't get anywhere... it seemed to be completly messed up. I truly hope that it would not be a serious problem...

Later, A-san, F-san, M-san and I went to STL to watch the basketball game between SIU and Creighton: it was the Missouri Valley Championship. From the very beginning, SIU allowed Creighton to take the lead, and could not catch up with Creighton by the end...: SIU ended up losing the game by the score of 80 to 56...

It was very cold today in contrast with yesterday...: the temperature dropped into 30s...
I went to a Chinese restaurant with A-san for lunch. On our way home, we stopped by the auto-workshop to pick up my car, which was kept there for several days to fix a problem. According to the mechanic, there was a problem with the starter...; so I got the malfunctioned starter replaced with the new one. I was happy to drive my car after almost one week interval.

I asked for B-san's help to figure out what caused the problem with my computer... B-san, who is an expert on computer, found out that the problem was caused by some external physical shock... The only solution to the problem, according to B-san, was to replace the broken hard-drive with the new one... I immediately ordered the new hard-drive since I really needed the computer for lots of purposes... Another unforeseen expenses will put me on a tight budget...

I went to an American buffet restaurant with B-san for dinner: the restaurant was filled with crowds of people in contrast with the campus... The waitress was very kind and cheerful.
It's very hot today!!! Upon stepping outside the dormitory, I returned to my room to change my clothes. It seems that summer has suddenly come even before spring arrives... Since my computer is temporarily unavailable, I'm writing in my diary in a computer lab on campus now. Surprisingly enough, the room is air-conditioned now!!!

After I got some errands done, I came back to the library to check emails. Even without my own computer, I can still receive benefit of making use of this useful communication tool. But, honestly speaking, it's more convenient to use my own computer though...
I went to the library as early in the morning as 7:30am to use a computer... There were only a few people there around that time; but surprisingly enough, there WERE some people at that time even during the spring break... (^^

Tomorrow, I'm leaving for STL to attend the annual retreat (I'll be back in C'dale on Sunday late at night..). So, I have to get some errands done for the trip after this. I will not be able to update this diary till next Monday...
I left C'dale around 7am for Ceder Creek, MO to attend the retreat. I anticipated that it would take about 3 hours or so to get there; but actually it took me almost 4 hours due to the traffic jam caused by the road construction... I could somehow arrived on time for the orientation though...

Acts of the Apostles...not resolutions of the Apostles, which is what Fr. J mentioned in his homily; there are great differences between acts and resolutions... The significance of resolutions will not be denied, but unless they are put into action, or unless acts come along with resolutions, they will be nothing...
