New Light Campus Ministry Christ Centered Fellowship & Bible Study
Announcements: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Ecc 3:1 After 3 years as a Virginia Commonwealth University Organization, the New Light Campus Ministry has come to a close. We, the leaders, have prayed diligently about the future of this ministry and have considered all determining factors, but we can no longer operate as a VCU organization. Though we are saddened by the outcome of the ministry we are not discouraged because we know that God holds all things in His hands “and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28”). We will continue to post all the old Bible study handouts and lesson materials as well as update the site for any functions that our previous members may be a part of. We have had a wonderful journey in the establishment and perpetuation of this ministry and would like to thank all those who have been a part of those processes. May God bless and keep you all, Amen.

The New Light Baptist Church and students from Virginia Commonwealth University have joined together to create a new campus ministry. The 2004-2005 school year was our first year as an official VCU organization. Our mission is to provide Christ centered fellowship for the college community. Why choose to fellowship with us? Even though we're new, we have many ambitions for our future. We will be holding monthly fellowship nights, like the one we had last school year, where students can share their testimonies and praise through song, dance, rap, etc. We also have other fellowship nights for movies, games, and other activities that incorporate our Bible Study topics.
