Alexis went home a few days later. Alexis’ mother is living with them. Tracy is still trying to agrevate Alexis and has yet to suceed. Everyone has come by to see the baby-even Tracy. Ned and Alexis are taking a walk in the park. Kristen is in the baby buggy and Brooke is playing on the swings while Kristen pushes her. Emily and Zander are playing on the swings as well. Ned and Alexis are sitting over on the sides talking. “I love you so much. And I can’t believe that we have this wonderful family.”  She said gazing into his eyes. “me neither.” Ned said rubbing her hand. “I love you so much Alexis.” He said smiling. “It’s like I keep thinking it’s a dream and that I’m just going to wake up because it’s all too good to be true.” She said sighing. Ned didn’t say anything but just allowed her to lean her head on his shoulder while he rubbed her shoulder. Kristen walked over. Brooke was over playing with Emily and Zander. “Natasha, I have something that I would like to ask you. It’s rather serious.” She said her blue eyes starring at Alexis. “Sure Mama. What is it?” Alexis asked lifting her head from Ned. She gestured for her to sit across from them on a bench. “Alexis, where is Kristina?” She asked softly holding Alexis’ hands. “Mama, I always assumed that Kristina had been murdered the same night that you had.” Alexis said looking started. Kristen appeared to be shocked, not sure what to say. “But dear, I recently received an E-mail from her telling me that she was on her way to Port Charles.” She said confused. “What? I could have swore that she was dead. She has to be dead. I mean there’s no way-“ Alexis stammered tears slowly falling down her cheeks. She didn’t bother to wipe them away. “Okay, just hold on a minute.” Ned said softly letting himself be known. “Who is Kristina?” he asked eyeing both woman. “Kristina…Kristina is my baby sister.” Alexis said calmley looking at the ground to avoid Ned’s eyes. Ned looked very shocked. “What-but how-“ he tried to make sense of the shocking news he had just received. “Alexis, look at me.” He said. She slowly lifted her head to look into his deep choclate brown eyes. She always melted looking into his eyes. “Alexis, tell me what’s going on.” He said gently but firmly. Okay, everything about how Kristina came about is the same as it was on the show. Ned, Alexis , Emily and Kristen are talking in the Gatehouse living room.Emily knows everything now. They are discussing Kristina. Ned is on his laptop trying to find any information that he can on her. Brenda and Jax enter without knocking. “No, don’t bother knocking. It’s just my house.” Ned said glaring at Jax. “Ne-d.” Alexis and Brenda say warning him in uniason. “I feel outnumbered.” He commented looking up from the computer screen. “Alexis I have something I need to tell you.” Jax said not smiling. “No now Jax, we’re in the middle of something really important.” Alexis says not looking up. “Alexis, trust me you want to know about this. You all probally do, if my estimate is correct and Alexis has told you all about Kristina.” He spat out. Everyone looks up shocked that he knows about her. “How do you know about Kristina?” Alexis asks barly able to get the sentace out. “Alexis, Ned, everyone.” He says sitting in an armchair. Brenda sits on the arm, her arm over his shoulders.” I know Kristina. I met her. And I have brought her back to Port Charles.” He finished. Brenda looked them all over trying to read their expressions. Suddenly Alexis broke into a smile and jumping up she hugged Jax. Soon after everyone else smiled too. Kristina’s meeting with everyone was like it was on the show with Alexis minus Chloe’s death. Everyone in town now knows about Alexis’s sister and daughter and mother. Alexis is having a girls night out with everyone. V, her mother, Emily, gia, Elizabeth, Brooke, Chloe, Carly (played by Sarah Brown), Bobbie and Kristina are all at the gatehouse vegging out and gossiping. Helena has been arrested for trying to kill Chloe. “God, I can’t believe it took them this long to lock the old witch up.” Chloe commented helping herslef to some chips. “Well, she does cover her tracks very well, I’ll give her that much.” Alexis says before stuffing a hand full of popcorn in her mouth. “Well, I’m just glad I have my family back. Not to mention the new addition.” Alexis added looking at Kristen’s bassanet. Everyone smiled at her. V got up and walked to the kitchen. Alexis eyed her and when everyone else seemed to be occupied she followed her suit. “V?” Alexis peeked into the kitchen. “Oh, hi Alexis.” V  said smiling at her. “How are you doing?” she asked kindly. “I’m doing fine Alexis really.” She said pouring some coffee. “No, you’re not.” Alexis told her. “Exuse me?” she questioned. “V, you’re my best friend..” Alexis started to say. “No, I think your confusing me with Chloe.” V said smiling. “Yes, V , Chloe is my friend. But you are my Best friend and one of my oldest friends. And I love you like a sister.” She said smiling and giving V a hug. V smiled back feeling great for the first time in weeks and they both went back and joined the party. “Okay, everyone I have an annocement!” Chloe shouted about all the chit chat. Everyone quited down to listen. She paused. “Maybe I should wait for Stefan before I tell you all this.” She said considering. “Come on Chloe already! Tell us. Stefan can deal with it.” Alexis spit out. “Okay, I found out the other day that….I’m pregnant!” she yelled! Jumping up and down. Alexis gasped as did everyone and congratalated her including a special hug with Alexis and V. Everyone knows about chloe and Stefan’s pregnancy and no one could be happier than Stefan. Ned and Alexis are walking on the side walk in the snow, thinking about Christmas, because it was fast approching. They had convinced Stefan and Chloe to stay home and watch Brooke and Kristin for a practice at parenting. “Ned, I’m cold.” Alexis said shivering. She was wearing Ned’s overcoat and he, in an attempt to be funny was wearing her coat with the hood up. “I’ll keep you nice and toasty.” He said putting his arm around her and pulling her close and kissing her for at least a full minute before breaking the kiss. “Well, now, is it a bit hot out here?” Alexis asked breathlessly. Ned laughed. “How about we go over there and pick out some wreaths and garland for the Gatehouse any you can decorate it. No use wasting all your decorating skills on Jax.” “Sure.” She agreed. Just let me run into kelly’s and get some coffee first. I’ll meet you over there.” She said off hand. “Okay.” He agreed as he started across the street and Alexis watched. What neither of them had noticed was the black buick in the alley waitinting for a opening to drive. And as it came speeding out from the corner , Alexis watched as it speed up and Ned’s eyes lit up like a deer, but he quickly skidded out of the way just in time before the car speed off into the distance. “Oh my God!” Alexis exclaimed. “We almost had another Chloe!” she said closing her eyes and running to hug him and they both breathed a sigh of relief. They both entered Kelly’s together where they saw everyone watch in horror. “What?” Ned yelled at them wondering what was exciting about him. “Oh.” He just then spotted his mother in the center of it all. And she had a gun is her hand, ready to shoot.She had obviously picked up a habbit from junior. She had fallen off the wagon-big time. He sighed not wanting to play Gatekeeper again. “For old times sake.” He whispered to Alexis before going to help his mother. “Mother, come on, why don’t you go sleep it off. But first, give me the gun.” Ned said trying to be calm. “And why should I do any damn thing that you say?” she spat at him. “Because I’m your son and you do have Dillon too and I don’t want see anyone get hurt.” He said to her. “Just save your talks for someone who cares okay Ned? You don’t care about me anymore than you care about the ozone layer. So just lay off. And actually you know what? I’m going to make sure of it.”  And with that Tracy pulled the gun out and Alexis and everyone in the diner watched in horror as Tracy shot her own son straight in the heart. Tony Jones, sitting at a near by table knew the moment it happened that he didn’t have a prayer for him. Alexis looked on in horror as Ned fell backwards in a pool of blood. “NO!!!!” she screamed hunching over Ned’s body she tried to get him to wake up but he wouldn’t. she looked to Tony for help but he just shook his head and she sat there crying over Ned’s lifeless body. “YOU!” she shouted at Tracy. “How could you do that to him? To me? To those little girls? Who will never know how great he is. I will never forgive you for this tracy. How could you shoot your own Son?” she asked tears streaming down her face. Just then Taggert and mac entered and arrested Tracy, who was in a dazed shock from shooting Ned. “No, no no Not ned. Please not Ned. I love him….I love him!! I LOVE HIM!!!” Alexis sat up in her bed sweat streaming down her face and on her body. Her purple spagetti strap nightgown clung to her body. It was all a dream she realized, tears starting to fall. She reached for the phone to call chloe before realizing that choe was gone. She couldn’t call her anymore about these things. She flung the covers off and hugged her pillow to her chest bringing her knees up , ned’s words echoing in her head. “If you ever need someone to talk to at three a.m. I’d like to think I am still that person.” THE END-To be continued…… Stay tuned to see what will happen next.
