~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Chapter 14 ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ ~PCPD~ Later on that day….. ''Did you find out anything?'' Alexis asked as Mac walked into the room. ''Nothing.'' He replied while shaking his head. ''She’s scared and she’s screaming for her mommy, maybe you could go and talk to her.'' ''I will.'' Alexis said as she walked off. ''So now what?'' Jax asked. ''I’ve made a few phone calls and was able to get Rebecca placed with Alexis for the weekend or until her parents are located.'' ''Thanks a lot Mac.'' Jax said as he patted him on the back. ''Jax do you really think it’s such a good idea though?'' ''Alexis will love having her around.'' Mac looked out the window and saw Rebecca jump into Alexis’ arms, the child stopped crying immediately. ''I would just hate for her to get to close to her and then have her heart broken when she has to go home.'' ''Alexis knows how much a child needs their mother, she’ll be fine.'' Jax walked out of the room and over to Alexis and Rebecca. ''So anyone for Pizza?'' ''I like cheese pizza.'' Rebecca said. ''Then cheese pizza it is.'' Jax replied taking Rebecca from Alexis. ''Aren’t you coming?'' He turned and asked Alexis. ''Jax we can just take her she doesn’t belong to us.'' ''You’re right she doesn’t belong to us, but for the weekend or until we find her mommy and daddy she belongs to you.'' Jax said while grinning from ear to ear. ''What are you talking about?'' Jax smiled at Alexis and then looked at Rebecca. ''So what do you think Rebecca? Would you like to go home and stay with Alexis until your mommy or daddy comes to pick get you?'' ''I’d like that.'' ''Well then it’s settled.'' Jax replied as he put his other arm around Alexis. ''Let’s go get some pizza.'' ''But how?'' Alexis asked. ''How doesn’t matter.'' Jax replied as he kissed the top of her head. ~*~ ''Jax you really should get going?'' Alexis said as the three of them entered her suite. ''I’m not going anywhere.'' Jax replied as he picked up Rebecca and showed her where she’d be sleeping. ''Jax.'' Alexis said as she followed him. ''Aren’t you forgetting that you have a pregnant girlfriend at home waiting for you?'' ''No I’m not.'' Jax clearly stated as he spun around. ''I said we were going to have Pizza for dinner and pizza it is.'' ''Yeah.'' Rebecca yelled. ''I’ll be right back.'' Alexis replied as she heard a knock on the door. ''That should be the package I ordered?'' Jax said. ''Package?'' Alexis questioned. ''Go answer the door already will ya.'' Alexis gave him a what did you do now look as she went to open the door. ''Ms. Davis?'' A delivery boy asked. ''Yes that’s me.'' ''Please sign here?'' ''Thank you.'' Alexis replied as she signed the paper and he brought in a huge box. Jax put Rebecca down on the couch as he tipped the young man. ''Thank you sir.'' The young man replied as he looked down at the generous tip he received. ''Have a nice day.'' He added as he left. ''Somehow I doubt that’s pizza in there.'' Alexis said as she closed the door. ''You’re right it’s not pizza.'' Jax shot back as he slid across the floor and pulled her into a kiss. Alexis broke the kiss and pushed him back. ''Not in front of the child.'' ''Rebecca are you tried?'' Jax teased as Alexis hit him in the chest. ''Ouch that hurt.'' Jax teased. ''No!'' Rebecca screamed out as she put her hands over her ears and placed her head between her knees. ''Sweetheart it’s okay.'' Alexis said as she ran over to her and hugged her. ''We were only playing, I would never hurt Jax.'' Jax ran over and was kneeling down besides Alexis. ''Rebecca I love Alexis and she loves me. We’d never do anything to hurt each other, I promise you.'' Rebecca stopped crying and jumped into Jax’ arms. ''She didn’t really hurt you.'' ''No she didn’t.'' Jax replied as he kissed her on the forehead. ''Sweetie?'' Alexis asked. ''Do your mommy and daddy hit each other?'' ''No.'' Rebecca said. ''But mommy and John do.'' ''Whose John.'' Jax asked. ''He’s a mean person who lives with my mommy and me.'' Rebecca replied as she began to once again cry. ''Rebecca does John every hit you?'' Alexis asked softly, as her own eyes began to water. Rebecca just sat there and cried for a few minutes, she never answered Alexis’ question. Jax and Alexis looked at each other and decided it was best to drop it for now. ''So would you like to help me call and order the pizza, or what?'' Jax asked as he slightly tickled her and she began to smile. ~*~ Meanwhile Chloe has been upstairs in the Penthouse kitchen for the last two hours eating everything in sight. ''Great I’m going to make my self sick if I keep eating like this.'' She said to herself as she ate her third pickle. ''I need to gain weight and quickly if I’m going to pass you off as being older then you are.'' She said as she rubbed her stomach.'' Man how the hell am I going to pull this off.'' She yelled as she threw the pickle down on the table. Chloe poured herself a glass of water and went into the other room. She threw her body down on the couch and picked up the phone. She dialed Jax’ cell-phone number and waited for him to pick up. ~*~ Jax, Alexis, and Rebecca were all sitting on the floor eating pizza. The box was lying on the table open and the pizza was just about gone. Jax and Alexis were leaning against the couch and Rebecca was sitting across from them laughing. ''Come on open up and take one more bite.'' Jax teased as he held the pizza over Alexis’ face. ''I don’t want anymore.'' Alexis screamed through her laughter. ''What’s in the box?'' Rebecca suddenly asked. ''Oh yes the box.'' Jax replied with a huge grin across his face. ''What’s in the box?'' ''Are you going to make us stare at that thing all night or what?'' Alexis demanded to know. ''Okay I guess I’ve tortured you both enough for one evening.'' Jax said as his cell phone rang. ''Great you go answer the phone as we open the box.'' Alexis said as she quickly kissed him and began to crawl over to it. ''Oh no you don’t.'' He said as he grabbed her leg with one hand and his phone with the other. ''Don’t you dare touch that box!'' ''Jax.'' He said answering the phone while still holding Alexis’ leg and keeping an eye on her. Meanwhile Rebecca and Alexis were quietly laughing at Jax as he talked on the phone. ''Hey honey it’s me where are you?'' Chloe asked relieved he answered the phone. Jax let go of Alexis’ leg and Jumped up. ''Chloe.'' He yelled as he walked towards the bedroom. Alexis’ face went blank as she started to clean up the mess they made. ''Are you okay you sound like you’ve been crying?'' Jax asked. ''I’m okay.'' Chloe replied ''I just miss you, you’ve been gone for quit awhile now.'' ''I know and I’m sorry.'' ''Will you be home soon?'' Jax turned around and looked over at Alexis, he didn’t want to leave her but he knew there was no way she was going to allow him to stay now that Chloe called. ''I shouldn’t be much longer.'' Jax promised ''I love you.'' Chloe said. ''I’ll be home soon.'' Jax replied as he hung up the phone, and walked back over to Alexis ''So are we going to see what’s in the box or what? ''Yeah!'' Rebecca yelled as she ran over and opened it. ''Toys and clothes'' She yelled as she pulled everything out. ''And they’re all for you.'' Jax said as he put his arm around Alexis. ''I mean you can’t spend the weekend with Alexis if you don’t have anything to wear or play with. ''Thanks Jax.'' Alexis replied still rather upset. ''I didn’t even think about that.'' Jax held her tight. ''That’s why you have me.'' ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ CHAPTER 15~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Alexis is sitting on her bed in her pajamas brushing Rebecca’s hair. Rebecca is wearing a pretty mint green nightgown with butterflies all over it. "How come Jax had to leave?" Rebecca asked. Alexis bite her bottom lip as she ran the brush through Rebecca’ long blond hair. "You know when I was a child I wished I had blond hair like yours" "John hates my hair." Rebecca said. "I happen to love your hair." Alexis said as she hugged her tight and kissed her cheek. "I love you." Rebecca said as she turned around and jumped up on Alexis. "I love you too." Alexis said as she started to cry. Rebecca pulled away from her. "I’m sorry." "Sorry for what?" "For making you cry." Alexis held Rebecca’s face in her hand. "You didn’t make me cry sweetie." "Then what did?" "I guess I’m just a little upset that’s all." "Because Jax left?" "That’s part of it I suppose." Alexis said getting up. "Then why did he go?" "Because he has a family of his own to get home to." Alexis replied as she took her hand. "Come on what do you say we get you to bed?" Rebecca got up and walked into the other bedroom with Alexis. Alexis pulled back the blanket as Rebecca hopped in. Alexis kissed her goodnight and pulled the blanket up. "Does Jax have any kids?" Rebecca asked. Alexis looked down on her and smiled as she tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall. "No." was all she said as she turned on a nightlight and walked towards the door. "You’d make a great mommy." Rebecca said as she rolled over and closed her eyes. Alexis walked back into her bedroom and slid under the covers as she silently cried. ~*~ "Jax sweetheart." Chloe said as she rolled over in bed and placed her arm around him. "Are you going to be reading that file all night?" Jax continued to look at the file he was supposedly reading. He couldn’t get Alexis or the fact that he’d rather be downstairs with her right now out of his mind. "Jax honey." Chloe said as she lifted up his shirt and started kissing his chest. "Why don’t you put that nasty old file down so we can have some fun?" Jax pushed her off of him and quickly jumped out of bed. "Chloe I’m sorry but I have work to do and you keep distracting me." Chloe looked at him like he grew another head or something. "Jax that was kinda the idea." "I’m sorry but this just isn’t working." Jax yelled "What isn’t working?" Chloe asked sitting up. "This us…… you…… the baby…… everything I can’t do it anymore!" Jax yelled as he sat in the chair and put his sneakers on. "Jax please I don’t understand." Chloe yelled. "Chloe I don’t want to hurt you it’s just I can’t do it anymore. I can’t lye in bed with you night after night and pretend to be in love with you when I’m in love with someone else." Jax blurted out not being able to stop himself. Chloe’ face turned as white as a ghost. "What do you mean you love someone else?" "I didn’t mean to say that but I’m glad I did." He yelled. "I hate living in this damn fantasy world you have us both living in." He put his hands over his face for a minute and screamed. "We aren’t two little kids playing house we’re two adults who need more……or at least I do." "Jax want are you saying?" Chloe asked as she got up and wrapped her arms around him. Jax immediately pushed her off of him. "I’m saying it’s over Chloe. I don’t love you I fell in love with the idea of loving you but I never ever loved you." Chloe started to cry as his words finally began to sink in. "You’re leaving me because of the baby, aren’t you?" she screamed. "No I’ll be there for our child, but I can’t be there for you." Chloe’ face turned bright red as she grabbed a hold of Jax’ arm. "Who is she, who’s the bitch you’re sleeping with." "She’s a woman." Jax yelled. "A real woman, not someone who walks around all day and cries on other peoples shoulders about her damn headaches and pathetic dreams." "It’s not my fault I got hit by a car meant for Alexis." Chloe yelled. "It’s all her fault, Alexis should have been the one to get hit." "This is not in any way her fault." Jax shot back. "If you want to blame someone take a good look at yourself in the mirror. You got hit by that car pretending to be Alexis, because Alexis wanted to help you keep your company." "Which I lost anyway." Chloe yelled. "Well then I guess something good came out of this mess after all!" Jax yelled as he walked out and slammed the door behind him. Chloe picked up his file and threw it across the room. "I hate you Jasper Jacks." She screamed as she heard the penthouse door close. ~*~ Alexis was sound asleep when she heard a knock at the door. She jumped out of bed quickly and threw on her robe. She looked at the clock and it read 3:00 am. She walked across the hall to Rebecca’ door and closed it before going to the front door. Alexis grabbed a hold of the doorknob and lend her head against it. "Who’s there?" "Alexis it’s me Jax, can I please come in." Alexis unlocked the door and opened it. "Jax you’re soaking wet." She yelled as she pulled him inside. "I needed to clear my head so I went for a run." Alexis lifted his soaking wet shirt off over his head. "Jax are you crazy it’s pouring out?" "Alexis I did something else tonight as well." "We’ll talk about that later first we need to get you out of these wet clothes." She replied as she pulled his sweats down his legs. "Come on step out of them." Jax stepped out of his sweats and Alexis drug him in the other room. She opened her dresser draws and pulled out a pair of dry sweats. "Take off your underwear and put these on." Jax took them from her. "Do you really think your clothes are going to fit me?" he asked teasingly. "They happen to belong to Ned." Alexis shot back. "Now drop your draws and put them on." Jax took off his underwear and grabbed Alexis around the waist. "Actually I prefer to keep them off." He said as he backed her up against the foot of the bed. "Jax your getting me wet." Alexis yelled as she pushed him back. Jax just smiled at her as he pushed her down on the bed. He lends down and shakes his head over her body as water flew everywhere. Alexis puts her hands up and closes her eyes. "Okay I give." Jax begins to laugh as he lays his body slightly on top of hers. He braces most of his weight with his arms as she gives him a, you’re going to pay for that later look. He slowly bends down and kisses her neck as she slaps him on the back and begins to laugh as well. "So are you going to tell me what other crazy thing you did tonight?" She asked. "Later." Jax said as he kissed her. After a few minutes Alexis broke the kiss and tried to catch her breath. She was about to say something when Jax once again crashed his lips against hers. He placed his hand under her back and quickly rolled over placing her on top of him. With their mouths still connected Jax pushed her robe off of her and slowly moved his hands down her body grabbing the bottom of her nightgown and pulling it up. She broke the kiss and sat up allowing him to remove it over her head. She shook her hair out as he sat up and kissed her stomach. She arched her back and quietly said his name as his hands played with the lace on her undies. Alexis ran her fingers through his hair as he took his tongue and licked her stomach lightly as he made his way up towards her chest. He bends in and kisses her neck as he continues to sensually tease her, his kisses become lighter and he can tell he’s driving her crazy. She grabs his head and moans as his tongue plays with the outside of her ear. She can help but squirm as his hot breath continues to toy with her emotions. After a while Alexis pulls out of his grip and pushes him back. Jax laughs at her as he quickly sits back up, grabs her, and flings her down onto the mattress. "I’m not done with you." He seductively replies as he partially lies next to her and tickles his way down her body with his fingers. "Jax." She moans as his fingers sexually torment her. "I love you." "I love you too." He replied blowing in her ear. Alexis couldn’t stand it any longer she had to have him. “Put me out of my misery and make love to me.” She whispered. He stopped what he was doing and looked her straight in the eyes. “But I love driving you crazy.” “I want to be one with you.” She seductively replied. Jax didn’t miss a beat as he stared deep into her eyes and made her last desire come true. |
