NMSI provides farm work in Washington and Jefferson Counties in Illinois. In the past two years, we have tripled the acreage that we farm. We will cash rent, crop share or purchase ground from the landowner. This year our corn averaged 155 bu/ac and our beans 42 bu/ac.
Lawn care has been another priority at NMSI. Due to the success of other industries, we had to cut back our lawns. In the future, we would like to be able to provide additional lawn services to the community. We provide grass mowing, weedeating, bush trimming and raking.
For the past three years, NMSI has provided Holiday Decoration to Southern Illinois. Staff will come to your home and place Christmas lights and other holiday decorations on and around your property. We offer a free visit to plan your design if interested.
Our newest service to the public in Southern Illinois is personal delivery. Sometimes you might not have time to do some of life's simplest tasks. Or are you disabled or have reached a mature age where you are unable to complete tasks? That is where we come into the picture. Do you need a few groceries, laundry washed or a package delivered around town. Do you want to go and don't have a way to get there. Maybe we can help?
NMSI also offers local hauling services. We can haul mowers, 4-Wheelers, Furniture, Appliances and Burnable Trash away from your residence.
NMSI is also concerned about the environment. We will come and pickup aluminum cans to be recycled. Send us an e-mail and we will come and pickup your cans.
In 2002, NMSI will offer Gardening services. Do you want us to care for your garden, or do you want something from ours. How about green beans, sweet corn, pumpkins, watermelon and peppers? If this sounds good, leave us a message so we can plan for next years garden.
