This simple and effective way of cooking was introduced into the Chinese culture during the Genghis Kahn Invasion in 1211 A.D. It was later known throughout the tribes as Mongolian Barbecue. The addition of vegetables and other ingredients were not part of the original method of cooking, and was strictly a modern day Chinese innovation, added many years later. |
AT THE MONGOLIAN BARBEQUE NOAR members and friends filled our bowls with an assortment of meats and vegetables and topped them with a mild, medium or hot sauce of our choice. We then handed it all to a chef, who quickly prepared our food on top of a special metal-topped Mongolian stove. |
At ComedySportz NOAR enjoyed a special "cage match" where THREE teams competed for laughs and points by playing a vast array of improvisation games. While enjoying our free popcorn, we were entertained with Shakespearian Ice Hockey - hope that made up for missing the Sharks game! The show ran a little late and parents were treated to a free taste of the show while waiting to pick up their teens. |
