Q. What is a fountain?
A. A fountain is: A spring of water, a well of water, a wellspring of water, a cistern of water, a place
where water runs, flows, spurts, or gushes out of the earth.
Q. How did water get into the earth?
A. Heat causes water from all over the earth to evaporate..dry up (break into pieces and become) mist
(water vapour) that rises up and enters into the atmosphere (air). Where the atmosphere is cool, drops
of water condense around tiny pieces of dust that are floating in the air, and the drops of water form
clouds, and the clouds get very heavy, or very cold, and they drop the water back down over the earth,
and water soaks into the earth, and water runs all over the earth, and water trickles, seeps, and runs
down into holes, and cracks, and crevices in the earth, and the waters flow beneath the earth; that is
how water got into the earth.
Q. How did water carve fountains within the earth?
A. Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers. Psalm 74:15

rend, rent, be rent, be rent asunder, rip up, be ripped up, break out, cut out, burst, be broken up, be

A. Water carries broken and dead pieces of vegetation, and also the earth and rock that it cuts and wears
away from above the ground, and beneath the ground, from higher parts of the earth, to lower parts of
the earth.

Q. What causes water to shoot up, and out of the earth, from geysers?
A. Beneath the earth there is heat, Job 28:5 and the heat warms the rocks that are beneath the earth, and
the waters beneath the earth are warmed by the rocks, and the waters begin to boil Job 41:31 and
pressure builds up and causes the water, and also steam from the boiling water, to shoot up, and out
of the earth. Hot Springs. Geysers.
Q. What causes water to gush up, and out of the earth, from fountains?
A. Water has weight. Job 28:25 Water falls. Micah 1:4 Beneath the earth the weight of falling water
forces fountains of water in valleys and hills to spring (gush) up, and out of the earth. Jeremiah 6:7..
