Making shapes with water.

Using the following shaped containers, what shapes can you make with water?
Round. Square. Triangle. Rectangle. Hexagonal. Octagonal.

Can you make a straight line with water? Perhaps you could use a straw.

Water can be crooked. You can make a crooked path in the earth, and pour some water into it.

You can make round bubbles with water. Wet your hands and rub some soap all over them until it is
frothy, hold your hands together like a bowl, separate your little fingers and some of the palms of your
hands so that there is a gap between them, and make sure there is a film of soapy water in the gap, now
hold your hands up, and gently blow through the gap. Did you make any bubbles?

Can you think of any other shapes that you can make with water?

Experiment.
Pour a little water into a balloon. Tie the top of the balloon in a knot. Holding the balloon in your hands,
start squishing and squashing it with your fingers. Look at the funny shapes, that you can make with
water.
