5  Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

Isa 25:5 As a cloud passes between the sun and the earth a shadow is cast upon the earth. Dry places are hot places. The shadows of clouds lower the temperature in hot places. Shadows lower the temperature upon the earth. Shady places are cool places. Shade is a defence from the heat..Heat glows..Heat burns..Dry places glow with heat..Deserts glow with heat..Deserts are dry places..Deserts are hot places..Dry places are hot places..Deserts are dry hot places..Deserts are desolate and waste.

5 Thou shalt
vanquish, bring down (low)..the heat, dry, (desolation and waste); in a glowing, burning, dry place, (desert); even the heat, dry, (desolation and waste) with the shade, shadow, shadowing of an envelope, density, a thickness, thicket, a copse, darkness: Isaiah 25:5

Heat causes water to evaporate (dry up).
15  My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and as the stream of brooks they pass away;
16  Which are blackish by reason of the ice, and wherein the snow is hid:
17  What time they wax warm, they vanish: when it is hot, they are consumed out of their place. Job 6:15-17

The sun is a light.
16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

The sun is a consuming fire.
11  For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11

Light is hot.
48  He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts. Psalm 78:48

Heat burns.
28  Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? Proverbs 6:28..Ezek 24:11..Job 30:30

As soon as the sun rises, light and heat spread out and over the earth, and the burning heat from the sun causes vapours to rise up from the earth and its plants, and enter into the air.
30  Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea. Job 36:30

11  For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways. James 1:11

Trees
inhale carbon dioxide from the air and exhale oxygen during photosynthesis. (purify the air).

Blocking out light keeps the earth dark.
25  They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man. Job 12:25

Rising vapours form clouds which block out the heat and light of the sun.
32  With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt. Job 36:32

Vapours that rise up and enter into the air are circulated around the earth by the heat of the sun.
24  By what way is the  light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth? Job 38:24

Clouds of vapour pour rain down and over, the earth.
3  If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: Ecclesiastes 11:3

Water soaks down and enters into the ground.
7  For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: Hebrews 6:7

Plants need moisture in the soil to grow.
6  And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. Lke 8:6

The light and warmth of the sun, and water (rain) cause plants to grow upon the earth.
4  And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain. 1 Samuel 23:4

Water is naturally cold.
25  As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country. Prov 25:25

42  And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matthew 10:42
