Weight is determined by the gravitational pull of the earth upon an object. Weight is determined by the amount of matter within an object and the gravitational pull of the earth upon that object. A set of scales placed between the earth and a falling object measures the weight of that object. Weight is, how [heavy something is] much something weighs. Q.
