Psalm 105:30 Tadpoles grow long back legs, short front legs, big mouths, and lungs, and their tails get shorter, and disappear before they turn into frogs..Tadpoles turn into frogs..It takes about three months for a tadpole to turn into a frog. Frogs live in shady, moist places, near water, on the land..Frogs love to spend time in the water..The skin of a frog is smooth and slimy, and the water helps to keep their skin wet.. What is the difference between a frog and a toad? Toads are fatter than frogs..Toads have short back legs.. Toads dont jump and leap about like frogs..Toads walk about, on their short fat legs..The skin of a toad is rough, and dry, and lumpy. Swamp: Wet spongy ground. Ground soaked with water. Marsh: Low lying land that gets flooded during wet weather. Low lying land that is usually waterlogged at all times. Low lying wet land. Spongy wet ground. The earth is porous. The earth is like a sponge. The earth absorbs water. Water soaks into the ground. The ground can be saturated with water. A swamp is a piece of ground that is saturated with water. Ground that is saturated with water is spongy (soft). As the ground absorbs water, the earth expands and softens. Water softens the earth. Sharats. The were so many frogs that they were breeding abundantly in the bedchambers of the Egyptian kings. Frogs leap. Frogs leap in water (marshes and swamps). Frogs. Frogs come from eggs..The male frog leaps onto the back of the female frog, and he wraps his front legs around her chest..Female frogs lay thousands (swarms) of eggs in shallow water at the edge of swamps and marshes of water, and the male frog coats the eggs with a jelly like substance from his body..Female tree frogs beat the jelly into a froth for their little eggs to grow in..Swarms of frogs eggs are called frogspawn..Frog eggs look like little black dots inclosed in balls of jelly..The size of the balls of jelly are about the size of garden peas..Some frogs swim away and leave their eggs, and some male frogs swallow the eggs and let the little eggs grow in side of their bodies until tadpoles hatch and wiggle out of their open mouths..Frogs eggs fall to the bottom of marshes and swamps; and later they rise to the warmer surface of the water, where they begin to grow..As the frogs eggs grow, the eggs change shape, and little heads and a little tails can be seen inside of the ball of jelly, tadpoles are beginning to take shape. It takes about two weeks for a tadpole to hatch from an egg..When the tadpole is fully grown he wriggles his way out of the little ball of jelly..Only a few of the thousands of tadpoles survive, because many are eaten by birds and fish..Beneath the water tadpoles breathe oxygen from the water through their gills on the backs of their heads.. Tadpoles have long tails which help them to swim about in the water..Tadpoles wiggle their way about in water.. Tadpoles eat little water plants, as they wiggle their way about in water. |
