Spring brings birth with nature abound
Summer brings warmth for people around
Autumn brings the shedding colours of leaves
Winter brings forth a frozen reprieve
But the cold season has always brought near
The celebration of Christmas, the birth of our saviour dear
It brings forth too a joyous feeling
One I hold dear, and close to my heart that's willing
Wishes of good tidings, the best there can be
Best health and comfort for thy family and for thee
A life that is fruitful, as our Lord hath wanted
For family and children, peace be granted
Since our lives cannot be shared as one
I wish you all wonderful things under yon sun
For I love thee far more than thou know
I offer my sufferings so thine life may grow
Unlike the seasons, my heart changes not
The rush of rain and sun it not forgot
For I love thee dearly come sun, come snow or rain
Whether there be joy, whether there be pain
This season for me is filled with thee
And I bear my sufferings with joyful glee
To the most beautiful woman my heart has seen
A merry merry Christmas my dear Queen
