During these first tender years, education should not be forced. Our family takes on a Charlotte Mason type of philosophy during these early years. We believe in short lessons. We also agree that any type of formal education is not conducive to learning. Babies and young children need to be outside exploring. They need on the lap reading moments and family game nights. They need a strong web of family and friends to look up to and depend upon.
