My Cuzzes Models

I have a cousin (yah, dats you DANNL') that makes absolutely fablous models and other such stuff in miniature. Note that he makes most of this stuff from scratch, using bits and pieces from different purchased models as well (but usually modified and painted). Shown here is some of his amazing work. Click on the pix for bigger versions, be sure to DISABLE YOUR POP-UP STOPPER as new windows will open!

First up is my cuzzes newest effort, a diorama (a miniature scene) that was made on the lid of a peanut butter jar. This lid is about 3-1/2" in diameter. The most amazing thing is that Dan made it from start to finish in about 6 hours, from 1am to 7am one night when he couldn't sleep! Here is the text he put along with the pic on the modelers site he posted the picture on:
"Let my little piece of paradise itself invite you into: 'The World as it Should Be'. There's no one here, it's waiting for YOU to occupy the lovely place that has that something that everyone wants. Peace, nature, nice fresh air, and...that which had lured man (especially if you are a man) from the very dawn of time... what's on the OTHER SIDE OF THAT FENCE?" Now take a look at the next pic!

Perty kool isn't it!!!!!!!!!

One more view of it....

Next is a series of pix of Dans amazing diorama of a garage. It has functioning lights, a very realistic looking welder (made with way overvoltaged light bulbs - man does it look real - flashes and everything!), moving cranes, etc. etc. etc. This garage is absolutely AMAZING! I've sent some of these pix to a friend and he thought they were of a real garage!
