Epilogue
Blue eyes piercing at her heart, tearing apart her very own body from the inside out. A smile playing across those same lips she kissed as she delivered his final blow. She killed him, a man trapped inside a teenage body that would never grow. Yes it was this man who she ran off with at night, it was this man who was the first to ever kiss her.
Now it was all gone, he was gone. Everything becoming black around her as he died. His words still driving her to a point of madness. "I truly did fall in love you, Pan-chan"
Her silence broken as a child's voice cried out. A baby laying on the ground at her feet, bronze skin and... Persian blue eyes...with raven black hair. "Juunana-gou..." She whispered softly, almost asking, as if it was him. Never sure as this dream played so many times before her. Haunting her like the walking dead, even in her state of a wake.
Her mind becoming a custom to it as her heart would stop each time it seemed. Like she was frozen it time. Frozen in a hell she created with his death.
"Pan, he forgave you.. Now it's time you forgive yourself." a soft voice called out.
"Who's there?" she demanded, cradling the child in her arms as if it was her. Protecting it. "Do not fear me, this is your dream. No harm can come to you or this child once man in your arms." she spoke. Her image, never truly clear as stood away, her black hair flowing behind her.
"How can I forgive myself? I killed him. And now he was reborn, but it's not the same. He's not Juunana-gou." Pan said, her voice of rage before looking into those blue eyes again. His smile, that smile he had that was only for her.
"Kaasama, do you remember when I came and you felt in your heart as if I was yours?" she asked, proclaiming her identity as she came closer. Pan suddenly looking straight into her eyes as she became a small child again. Her god form gone.
"Chibi-Vegeta.." Pan said, her heart already clinging to her again so quickly. The child simply smiling at her, "Look into his eyes and you will feel his heart. It is the same one, but with purity. You gave him death, something he longed for that no one else could give him from that false body he had. His heart grew with your touch, becoming alive once again as if he was human again. But he was still an android, his past taking over again. But now he is reborn, living as a human. Not an android of age you could not grasp. You gave him life, a second chance at being human again.." then she was gone.
Pan looked down at him, it was true. "No longer will I do this. It's time to say good-bye Juunana-gou. One day we will meet again when you grow for I fear and hope everything will come back to you. Until then I'll miss you, but I have to live. " Pan said.
Her eyes closing as she return to reality with sky blue eyes awaiting her arrival in a bed of many heated passionate night this they shared together. Strong arms holding her.
"Happy seventeenth birthday, Pan." Trunks said looking at his mate now young wife laying beneath him.
"Hey handsome.." she said back, smiling for the first time genially at him, at life. "I love you." she whispered into his eyes as he held her.
Closing his body in around her, "I love you too, Pan.."
"Always and forever together. " she said back as they became one again.
Even in a fire of war and damnation the most precious loves can be born for
it is that love that will see it to the end. And that, my friend was the tale
of a Romance Within a Fire.
