Gungrave, it's an anime, a game, and they're both good. The game was the start of it, it did well enough to inspire an anime, then the anime made the game big enough to make a sequel to the first game. The first game used cell-shading technology, kinda makes the world look drawn. The anime has a good story yet the animation quality tends to slightly change through the show, and the new game is released only in japan. The Home Site
A great 2D shooter with 3D graphics, confusing eh? It has the basic concept of a side scrolling shooter, remember galaga? Kinda like that, now they add stuff, you can shoot an enemy and they will explode but if you happen to be same polarity when you shoot the enemy you will be bombarded with the same color shrapnel, so stay the same color and you wont get hurt. On the plus side of absorbing the shrapnel of your color you will get energy to use missles, so why change? Because if you kill a black enemy while white you will kill them faster, but this also makes you vulnerable to thier attacks and shrapnel. Seems easy huh? Well check this out.
Yet annother underground game, Virtual-On is the greates game ever, but I only count the first two, (moongate and Oratorio Tangram) not the third and fourth (force and MARZ). This game is a 3D fighter and shooter, you have a field to kill your enemy, its kinda like a mixture of Zone of The Enders and Armored Core, but faster and more involving. You have no permanent lock on your enemy, you have to dash or jump to re-locate them. There are also thousands of attack variations, enough to make your head explode. Home Site
