Plasma Bombs, Space torpedoes, the works. | |||||||||
Pedaphiliac: Plas-Tech Antipersonnel Weapons: Also known as shredders, plas-tech antipersonnel weapons shred a block of solid plastic and propel the shards in a spray pattern at high speeds. Shredders are only efficient against unarmored personnel. These weapons are commonly carried by security troops or marines aboard spacecraft, as they do not pose a threat to sensitive equipment or actually puncturing the hull. GUARD Guided Torpedo Systems: gravitic Ultra Amplification and Resonance Detection Torpedo Systems (GUARD Torpedo Systems) have been nearly replaced today by the Neutrino Seeking Torpedo, but are still common. All spacecraft use GUARD sensors as their primary system for detecting objects in deep space at long range, by measuring the objects gravitic imprint and Hyper-String disturbance. GUARD Torpedo Systems guide the warhead by remote control using the ship's GUARD sensor towers. However, ECCM systems are able to disrupt the transmission from the ship's radio to the missile with ease, throwing the torpedo off track. For this reason, GUARD Torpedoes are less common. However, many Neutrino Seeking Torpedoes use GUARD as a backup should the Neutrino Seeker fail in mid-flight. Neutrino Seeking Torpedo Systems: Neutrino Seeking Missile Systems are exclusively carried aboard spaceborne warships. Spacecraft Ion Drive Engines emit a high level of subatomic particles called neutrinos. A Neutrino detection system on the parent vessel guides the warhead on its initial trajectory after leaving its launch tube. Upon target acquisition, the torpedoes onboard neutrino sensor package guides the weapon to its target. Most warship torpedo systems are Neutrino Seeking. |

Donated by Klonar: Beam Cannon: The Beam Cannon absorbs light and energy from anything around it (A star, a generator, a match (although that wouldn't give it enough charge fire a shot)). What it does is store that energy in a battery (wow, really adavnced now, aren't we) then, when it is fired, the energy from a long period of time (or very strong energy for a short period of time) is concentrated and all the stored up energy is launched out in a few seconds. This makes it able to be supplied with almost unlimited ammunition (since just having it near a star will load it up), and is able to actually protect ships, for their chargers can absord harmful energies around the ship (this was done when a Jimathon cruiser sprayed it's exhaust on the Colossus, which fueld it to deliver one hell of a Beam). |

Donated by Emperor Joe: Enviromental weapons. Eviromental weapons are the most common of pests. You know Ants, Mosquitos, bees, ticks, rats. Each of them is a pest by themselves but they are in a swarm they are deadly. Each of them can enginered to carry one deadly virus of choice. For example, Rats with rabies that carry ticks with the bubonic plauge. Not to be used on a place you wanna catupre. |

Donated by Lunatic Retard Robots: Nuclear Blaster: The Nuclear Blaster is a directed radiation weapon, which can (In the case of the larger and more unwieldy ones) bring the firepower of a small solar flare upon the hull of an enemy capital ship. These weapons, when used in large groups, can bring down heavy capitol ships in a matter of minutes. Smaller ones, which have a rate of fire about 3/4 that of the slower railguns, are very useful anti-fighter weapons, and take only a single shot to blow away most average-sized fighters. The radiation particles are "Doped" to decay extra quickly, so maximum iffectiveness is at close range with the large ones. Anti-fighter blasters are comparable to most good quality railguns in range. They are the primary armament of all LRR ships. |
