NSAI is the world's largest not-for-profit songwriters trade organization. Established in 1967, our membership of nearly 5,000 spans the United States and 5 other countries.

The Kansas City regional  workshop meets
the second Saturday of the month from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM at
Mountain Music Shoppe, 12710 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Shawnee, KS 66216.  Our purpose is to help songwriters write effective songs in any genre (not just country).  We come together to educate, stay informed, provide growth opportunities and support one another as songwriters.  If you'd like to participate in the song feedback part of the meeting, bring your song on cassette/CD, cued up, and include 12 printed copies of your lyrics.  Simple work tapes are encouraged to get the most from the process.
