Koinonia is a movement fashioned after the pattern of Cursillo where a person experiences a 3 day weekend and then proceeds to develop a renewed relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Koinonia came to Southern Ontario many years ago through Koinonia of Western New York and Southern Ontario. Northshore Koinonia came to the Toronto - Hamilton area in the Fall of 1997. Since that time there have been reunions and weekends held through the year.
Koinonia is inactive in
Southern Ontario. However, it's members are not. Working together
with people from the Anglican Cursillo movement Koinonians are very
active in building up Kairos and Kairos Outside in Canada. We are at
the beginning of getting Kairos
Torch off the ground, due to the efforts of those people
whose lives were affected by a Koinonia weekend.
