Every magazine, cd, book, fruit snack, etc. Maybe when I'm old and married, I'll have an Nsync room in my house like Lance's Dr. Suess room. What attracted me to Nsync: Justin's abs. Just joshin'. Actually, it all started when I watched the famous Disney concert because I recognized JC (for some reason Justin didn't ring a bell) from MMC, and I wanted to see his new "project". It only took a few seconds for me to realize how wonderful and talented the entire group was. Favorite Nsyncer: I can't decide between Justin and JC. I've had a crush on JC for almost 11 years, but Justin is just so darn lovable. The other guys all tie for third. Nsync concerts: I've been to five so far. Celebrity was the best by far because of the Beatles and Temptations medley! Moment I knew I was obsessed: There are so many! But I really knew I was obsessive the day I wrote a 'hero' paper about Justin. Everyone else wrote about their mothers and whatnot, but I chose fro boy. Nsync encounter: I went to a FuMan Skeeto autograph signing in Dallas. I went to an Nsync concert the night before in Houston and right after that, I drove five hours to Dallas. I went straight to Nordstrom's and waited for another few hours before Chris arrived. I hadn't slept at all or taken a shower in 24 hours, but getting Chris's autograph is one of my fondest memories. I also met Lance recently when he was in Houston for Space Week. I volunteered at the reception he was attending. I actually talked to Lance! We had a nice long conversation (maybe a little more than a minute, but the best minute of my life.). I think mountains moved that night! He signed by fan club card that expired two years ago. *Sigh* Two down, three to go. Watch out Justy! *~*Fan fiction stats*~* Writing since: sometime in 1999 Why: I've always read fan fiction (fictionlyn is my favorite), but I'd never thought about writing my own. My friend got me into it when she asked if I'd write a story about JC; it was going to be a birthday present. I wasn't sure if I could write a story, but I tried it. I must say, it wasn't my best work. (I actually have it posted on my website; the title is Star Bright, so check it out and see what I mean. I didn't change a single word of it for sentimental, girly reasons). Even though my first piece wasn't so great, I was convinced that I could do better, so I gave it another go. The second story wasn't quiet so bad and my third attempt was better. By the time I got to a fifth story, it stopped being about improving my writing and more about creating characters and playing out the ideas that pop into my head. I was hooked. And that's how I got into the fan fiction business. Nsync muse: I write a lot about Justin because I enjoy him as a charater, but most of his stories follow the same romantic plot. With JC, I get a lot of ideas that I could never get from Justin. Never in a million years would I have written Justin as bulimic. There's a mysteriousness and darkness around JC that gets my imagination running. Favorite type of fiction to write: I think my best work is usually angst. However, the occasional mushy, 'I love you' story is always fun to write. Well, that's it. Everything you wanted (and a lot you didn't want) to know about me. I hope you didn't hit your head on the keyboard when you fell asleep. |
