Chapter Twelve |
Crystal nervously applied her makeup. She didn’t know why she was so nervous. It was just another party with the guys and some of their friends. She had hung out with them all a million times. This was ridiculous. It was just like any other party. Or was it? She and Justin were going together, but she didn’t feel like they were just going to a party together. It felt more like…well…a date. As much as she didn’t want to admit it to herself. He had asked her to go with him a few nights before, but it had taken him so long to get the question out. It wasn’t like he had said "Hey Crys’ lets go get trashed at Chris’ house Friday night." He had done it more formally, more like "Crys’ will you come with me to Chris’ party Friday night?" and that made her more nervous than ever. With the "incident" that had taken place between them earlier in the week, the both of them had been acting weird towards one another. Often she would catch her friend staring at her as she moved about the house or as she stuffed her face full of cereal in the morning. He seemed totally obsessed with her. No matter what she found herself doing lately, she always found that Justin was right there next to her, acting like she was creating the cure for cancer or something. Needless to say it was starting to get really weird. Did she want this? Did she want to love Justin again? She just didn’t know. Could she even have a normal relationship, or would her mind dwell so much on the past that it would drive Justin away? They had done it before, so what could stop them from falling for each other again? Only time would tell. "Are you ready?" Justin said from the doorway, startling Crystal. "Jesus, I could have been naked or something." Crystal glared at him playfully as she sprayed herself with perfume. She had to admit, he looked great and the scent of his cologne was already starting to take her mind places she wasn’t sure she wanted to be. "Sorry…" he chuckled a little, looking at the ground. "You look nice." He said when he found the courage to look her in the face again. "The other girls are going to be wishing they were you tonight." "Thanks." She blushed, trying to hide the smile that was begging to spread across her face. "Shall we?" Justin said in his poor attempt at a British accent, holding his arm out for her to take a hold of. "Ok, now you’re really scaring me. Boys from Tennessee shouldn’t even attempt to have a British accent." Crystal laughed as she slipped her arm in his. "And girls from Tennessee shouldn’t be allowed to look as hot as you do right now." Justin smiled. "Justin." Crystal blushed again, as they walked out to his Mercedes. Another thing he had bought while in Germany. His pride and joy. He had always wanted a big expensive car, and now he could actually afford one. "You’re embarrassing me." "No I’m not. I can’t be embarrassing you until we’re around other people." He smiled. "Right now, I’m just flattering you." Crystal narrowed her eyes at him. "Well, can you please keep your flattering to a minimum? I hate being bragged about J. You know that." Justin laughed and opened the drivers side door for her. "You must be the strangest girl I know. But it’s ok. It’s very intruiging." He waited until she was totally inside the car and closed her door. He walked around to the other side, and got in himself. "Almost...sexy." He smiled as he started up the engine. Crystal had to laugh. "Just drive Timberlake." *************** Several hours later they were both exhausted. They had danced all night, only stopping briefly for a few drinks and to talk with the rest of the guys. They had decided to go walk on the beach and get away from the noise for a little while. They strolled along happily, hand in hand talking about the night’s events and laughed at all the crazy things Chris and Joey had done to try to get a girl to dance with them. Justin thought he would have been more nervous taking Crystal out the way he had that night. But he wasn’t. It felt so normal. Almost like the events of the past year hadn’t even occurred and they had been together all this time. That’s the way their relationship had always been though, nothing could ever seem to tear them apart from each other, no matter what the situation was. They had overcome the nightmare that had faced them before, and now things were almost back to normal. It made it even easier because Crystal was living with him. He watched her smile as she continued to joke about how pathetic Joey was at picking up girls. He was trying to pay attention to what she was saying, but he just couldn’t seem to stop thinking about how beautiful she looked tonight, the way the breeze toyed with her hair, sending it swirling up in the air, and magically setting it back in place as it stopped blowing. He couldn’t help but wonder...was he falling in love with her again? No he couldn’t be. It was too soon. She needed time. He needed time. But something inside him didn’t want to let him wait. Something inside him told him if he waited too long, he might be too late in the end. "Justin?" Crystal looked at her friend confused. "Huh?" Justin replied in a daze. "You haven’t said anything for ten minutes. You just keep staring at me and I keep rambling on like a fool. Is everything ok? Do I have a booger or something?" "A booger? Oh god girl, you’re crazy." Justin cracked up. "Well…then what is it then?" Crystal smiled as they walked out onto the dock and sat down. It was dark out now and the stars were glistening in the sky. It was a beautiful night. "You’re just…." Justin sighed and looked away, chuckling softly to himself. "I’m just what? What is it Justin? Is something wrong?" Crystal questioned, concerned. "No, no nothing’s wrong…" He looked into her beautiful blue eyes. "You’re just so beautiful." He got out finally, searching her eyes for a response. "You...you think I’m beautiful?" Crystal half smiled. She didn’t know how to react. She was beautiful? What was going on? Awkward moment number three was here, and damn it came fast! She waited for the moment that she knew was coming. The moment that deep down she knew was bound to happen eventually. There was no getting around it. She closed her eyes and held her breath. "I don’t think it. I know it." Justin whispered. This time there was no turning back. No distractions. No people. It was just them. Their minds were no longer in control of the situation. Justin was falling harder and harder every second and so was she. Their faces moved closer, and closer. Then with what seemed like a huge firework exploding their lips met for the first time in over a year. ********************************************* Later... Crash... "Woops!" Crystal laughed as a glass vase was knocked to the ground as she and Justin passionately kissed in the upstairs hallway they had somehow made their way into. Actually she couldn't remember how she and Justin had made it from the party to the car and from the car to inside the house and inside the house to the upstairs hall. Everything was a blur, she saw nothing but Justin and felt nothing but the extreme hormones pumping through her veins. She had no idea what they were getting themselves into. "The bed looks safer." Justin laughed and pulled Crystal and himself into his bedroom, pushing the door closed with his foot. He layed her down on the bed and crawled on top of her, not stopping to take a breath from their make out session. His eyelids lowered and his head lowered, and she felt the softness of his lips against hers. He kissed her lightly and just barely before he pulled away again. "Maybe...maybe we shouldn't..." he said breathlessly trying to control himself. She opened her eyes startled, her hand found her way into his hair and she wrapped her leg around his waist, tightening the hold, "Justin, don't stop." she gasped, exasperated. Are you sure?" Justin whispered softly. "If your not sure you gotta tell me now." Crystal looked deep into Justin's beautiful eyes. "I'm sure." The softness of those words drove him straight into her ecstasy. He leaned down and applied more pressure than he had before. He took her other leg and hooked it around his waist as well. Her hand trailed down until it slipped under the fabric of his shirt. He moaned into her mouth, as the coolness of her hand, made contact with the warmness his back provided. He deepened the kiss, and slipped his tongue into her mouth. He massaged her tongue while his hands found the zipper on the back of her skirt. He slowly pulled it until it was all the way down. He continued to kiss her passionately until she pulled away and pushed at his chest to sit up. He was on his knees and she raised herself as well. Her hands pulled the softness of the fabric over his head and pulled it off of him flinging it somewhere in the room. He placed his hand into the curve of her neck and gently tugged her towards him, losing himself in her kiss. He laid back pulling her with him. He hooked his fingers into the sides of her skirt and pulled it down, feeling her skin on the back of his hand as he did so. He pushed it as far as he could, and then he threw it on the floor. He kissed her knee and made his way up her body. He pulled her tank top over her head and off her body, leaving her in her bra and her underwear. He rubbed his hands up and down her silky smooth skin. He kissed her chin, and then down her neck, until he reached the silky fabric of her bra. He ran a hand over the two mounds and then unclasped the front of her bra. He pulled the two pieces to the side and lifted her back a little so that he could remove the cloth. Deep in the depths of her mind Crystal could hear the tiny voice in the back of her mind screaming at her: Stop now, you don’t know what you're doing! Stop now! But she couldn’t help herself, and the touch of Justin's sweet kisses on her body quickly drowned out the warning. Justin pulled off the rest of her underwear and looked her over for a moment, amazed at what was in front of him. She was so beautiful when she was naked. And the best part was, she was his. He kissed up her right leg and then dipped his tongue into her belly button. He kissed up until he reached her breasts. He cupped both of her them into his hands and massaged them, causing her to moan. He leaned down and blew across her nipples. He took one into his mouth and felt her shiver beneath him. He gave the same pleasure to the other. She ran a hand through his hair and ran another up and down his back. Getting even more lost in the beauty of their sex. She had forgotten what it had been like to love Justin. It had been so long. She had forgotten how passionate they had been in bed together. He finished with her breasts and she placed both of her hands on his cheek, lightly pulling him closer to her. He was right above her, staring straight into her eyes. He knew what she was feeling, because he was feeling it too. He could feel it in the air, and he knew that she had no doubts in her mind about what was about to take place. He quickly prepared his condom, lightly placed a kiss on her lips and whispered, " Can I have you Crystal. Can I have you forever?" He pressed his lips passionately into hers. "Forever..." Crystal whispered, kissing him back. She released her hold on him and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He stared straight into her eyes and he entered her. He pushed all of him inside, he felt so complete. This was how it was supposed to be. The both of them, one forever. Screw not moving too fast, screw waiting for the right time, screw it all, she was his again, his forever, like it was supposed to have always been: Crystal and Justin, and nothing was ever going to come between them again. Ever. After thirty minutes of passion they both collapsed against each other. The two lovers clung to each other as their hearts tried to keep up with their panting and rapid breathing. When he regained enough strength, Justin pulled out slowly and disposed of the full condom. Returning to Crystal's side, he pulled back the covers and slid her and himself under them. Kissing her lips softly, Justin tucked Crystal snugly against his chest. They laid together quietly, embracing each other until they drifted off to sleep. |
