Chapter Twenty
He looked up, "You're going back to him. Aren't you?"

I dropped my gaze to the floor. "I don't know."

He slammed his hand against the wall. "What do you mean you don't know?"

I looked at him, anger was surging through his body. "Justin, this isn't easy for me. He is Kayla's father. What else am I supposed to do?"

He walked up to me and kneeled in front of me. "Stay here. Be with me. I'll be a better Dad to Kayla than he will EVER be. Michelle, I'm begging you to love me the way I love you."

This was killing him, I could tell. I kneeled down with him. "Justin, you're not ready to be a father. You're still young, I'm not going to burden you with Kayla. And J, I love you more than anything. But that's the reason why I can't be with you."

He looked at me with tears in his eyes. "Michelle, please don't leave. He's only going to break your heart."

I stood up and walked to his bedroom door. I turned around to see Justin sitting Indian style on the floor, with his head in his hands. "Justin, I'm not doing this for me. I have too, for Kayla."

I look back now, unable to believe the past 2 months. I was graduating from college, finally. I finally have accomplished something on my own. And surprisingly, Blake has stuck by me.

"Chelle, baby, I am so proud of you." I had to smile at the comments he had been making all night last night. He was kidding my ass because he came home late from work the night before.

But I just didn't feel like arguing, 'I'm to happy for that!'

I was in my bedroom reading when I heard the phone ringing. "Blake, can you answer that?" But instead I had to sprint to the living room when he never answered. I picked up on the fourth ring. "Hello?"

         "Is this Michelle?"

I starred out the window, seeing Blake exit from an unknown car. "Umm. Yes, how can I help you?"

I heard the man sigh. "Michelle, this is Trace."

         'What? Trace? Oh NO!"
