Miyuki Kobayakawa is a model traffic officer—calm,
rational, observant, and intelligent. She puts the law and duty ahead of
sentiment, although she will always try her best to bring law-breakers
to justice even if the system has to be bent a little bit on occasion.
She wears her hair long, but while she is at work she pulls in back into
a pony tail.
Miyuki is an extremely talented mechanic and electrical
engineer. She has created burglary alarms for the homes of many of her
co-workers and has been known to give custom alarm clocks and other modified
home electronics as gifts. She is also constantly upgrading the engine
on her patrol car and Ken Nakajima’s and her partner Natsumi’s motorcycles.
She also creates more unusual conveyances, such as motorized skateboards.
Miyuki is romantically involved with Ken Nakajima.

Natsumi Tsujimoto is the most recent addition to
the Bokuto Station’s traffic detail. She wears her hair cut short and more
often than not she can be seen with the sleeves of her uniform jacket rolled
up and wearing non-regulation high-top sneakers.
Natsumi is a near-polar opposite to Miyuki--wild,
rambunctious, and almost entirely driven by her impulse—yet the pair were
forged into an firm partnership and solid friendship. Natsumi loves speed
and action and will invariably try to solve a problem through physical
means. When on-duty, she is very much the firebrand who, once she is on
the trail of a lawbreaker will not give up until all resources have been
exhausted. Her wild personality makes her popular with the children on
the beat.
Surprisingly, for someone who is a bundle of energy during the day,
when she goes to sleep, she REALLY sleeps; the alarm clock that Natsumi
won’t sleep through has not yet been invented, despite Miyuki’s best efforts.
Natsumi and the Captain started dating shortly after
she transferred to Bokuto, and a romance is starting to blossom.
