Yuriko Nikaido

Total Character Points: 20
Total Skill Points: 30

Yuriko is the main repository for and conduit for the spread of gossip at the Bokuto Stationhouse. She works mostly dispatch and further sees to it that the Captain and other senior officers are kept supplied with tea and snacks throughout the day. This puts her in a position to not only be aware of what chatter is going on over the police band, but can also watch the coming and goings of everyone from the lowest rookie to the most senior brass of the police force. Yuriko is particularly fond of spreading gossip about romantic relationships (or the lack thereof) among fellow officers. Unfortunately, these rumors tend to be the most unreliable of the gossip that issues forth from her, being often based on an overheard sentence fragment or a misinterpreted bit of out-of-routine behavior she had witnessed.
On the rare occasions where Yuriko is on patrol, or sent into the field to assist with crowd control during large events, she is partnered with Aoi Futaba.

Aoi Futaba

Total Character Points: 24
Total Skill Points: 40

Like Natsumi, Aoi Futaba is a recent transfer to the Bokuto Precinct. A highly successful high school athelete and a former member of a violent crimes taskforce, Aoi excelled at undercover work where he would serve as bait for serial rapists—discovering their attractive, intended victim was actually a man was even more shocking to the offenders than the handcuffs that were slapped on their wrists. While working this detail, Aoi discovered something about himself: he was happier living as a woman.
Aoi started making the transition from living as a man to living as a woman. He left the violent crimes unit and transferred to the traffic enforcement department in Bokuto. Several of the officers had a hard time wrapping their minds around the transsexual that had joined their staff—tomboyish Natsumi in particular was a crusader for “fixing” Aoi and reminding him that he was a man and not a woman. Eventually, however, everyone accepted Aoi as he is, and he now even changes in the women’s locker room and is always invited along on “girls’ nights out” bar-hopping expeditions.
While Aoi is completely content with his life as a woman, but still has not found the courage to reveal to his family and childhood friends that he is now living as a “she.” At least once, his friends at the Bokuto station rallied around him to help keep his secret intact.
