Why she's here:
Mackenzie was a gymnist and agood one at that. She was rising through the lower levels, reaching junior elite when she was only 8 years old. When she turned 10, her coach died of a heart attack, her father, desperate for her to be the best, transfered her to a different gym, with a much younger coach. Things went fine until Mackenzie turned 12, when her coach began sexually molesting and hitting her, threatening to kill her mother, with whom Mackenzie is very close, if she ever spoke a word of what was going on. All of a sudden Mackenzie began acting out. Her gymnastics suffered, and though she made the elite (top) levels, she failed to make the national team as a resultof her drug and alchohol use. She began sleeping around as well. Her parents found out about the excessive partying, and sent her to Horizon,though they had different reasons. Her mother, Amanda, was simply because she wanted her daughter to get well. Her father, Ron, just wanted to get her back into gymnastics. Mackenzie's older sister, Katie, had made the olympic team in 1992, and her father had always lorded that over Mackenzie's head,pushing her harder and harder to do the best.

Probably, but not for a long time. She's ashamed of what happened to her , and still feels in many ways that it was HER fault. And that she deserved it.
How would you act towards the staff/students-
Mean, Hostile,Icy. She's been in gymnastics for years and was taught never to complain about the pain. You keep it all inside. She's got an I-can-take-anything-you-throw-at-me attitude, and is very, very competative. she doesn't *want* to get close to anyone, because she doesn't want her secret to come out.

Why she's here-
I live with my dad, stepmom, older step-brother, and younger sister. I was bulimic (with anorexic tendencies) for 7 years, trying to live up to my step-mom's expectations of a "model daughter". When I was 13, I was sexually and physically abused by my step-brother and started smoking and sneaking out of the house at night. After coming home after being away from home for a week, my dad enrolled me in Horizon.

How would you act to the staff/student
I would be nice (but sarcastic) normally. But if something happened (like someone found out about my step-brother, I was insulted, etc.) Iwould act hostile and Icy.

Why she's here
My stepfather sexually started to sexually abuse me when I was 10, he told me it was a way to show that he loved me. when I turned 12 I figured out what he really was doing to me so I would run away for months at a time. I would stay at my sister apartment until someone found me. When I was 14 I started to do drugs, and run away more and more. One day I meet this guy named Jay Gordon, he would let me hang out with him and his friends, and would go with me and stay with me when ever I slept in an alley. he really would protect me. We fell in love, until one day my mother thought I was trouble so she sent me to horizon, but in 5 months Jay would be sent to horizon to.
