Our hero in this exciting space-opera is Gene Starwind, bounty hunter and outlaw extroadinarie, who travels all over the universe with his mates in a grappler ship unknown capabilities: THE OUTLAW STAR."

-- (SUMMARY)The story begins with our hero bounty hunter Gene Starwind and Jim Hawkings a mechanic boy genius. Took up a bodyguard job by a mysterious woman named Rachel. Only to find out that this Rachel is actually an outlaw name Hilda, with a really important key item. A group of pirates known as the Kei wants Hilda because she is hiding something that they want. Not knowing what was happening Gene and Jim is stuck in the middle of this chase. The story develops after this mysterious meetings with Hilda, that Gene became an outlaw. Gene is actually a man who likes hanging around with woman but doesn't like the thought of the empty, darkness of space, because of his childhood past that he is afraid of space. Our hero afterwards meets up with villains, allies, and friends. After finding out that Melfina is the key to a powerful spaceship, Gene named it THE OUTLAW STAR.

- (OPINION)OUTLAW STAR is a great anime with tons of space-action, humor, and really great graphics that break the traditional TV animation. At first I hesitated at watching this anime because I thought to myself..."gee I don't want to watch another stupid boring space epic drama (after watching Lost Universe, which is really boring...to me..when it reached the middle)" I didn't bother to watch is when my sister first bought it at the convention but after 3 months I watched it because there is nothing to do. So I loved it..YEAH! Not addicted but I loved it.

- MUSIC; The music is great for both the opening and the ending. The opening introduction starts off with a music called THROUGH THE NIGHT and is a song that is up beat and kinda like rock music sung by Arimachi Masahiko. The ending song is sung by Arai Akino really good music with really cool colorful graphics of a girl maybe Melfina.
