FLIGHT OF THE EAGLE

NOVEMBER 1806 FRENCH TURN

Napleon remains in Paris. In Germany, the troops of the Grande Armée are now securely in winter quarters.

Marshal Soult, at the head of 25,000 men, braves the snow-choked passes of the Pyrennes to establish a French military presence in the peninsula.

La Romana withdraws from Portugal into Spain. Meanwhile, in Toulouse on the Franco-Spanish border, Marshal Soult and his entourage arrive for an unspecified assignment.
