Numidian Elephant
Conversion:

Elephant - Toy elephant from a packet of zoo animals from toy store.

Blanket - Heavy paper. Covered both sides with PVA glue until soaked and moulded onto elephant body.

Howdah - Constructed from cardboard (art supply shop).

Mahout - Airfix French Napoleonic Cuirassiers. The cuirass becomes the tunic. Everything else is cut or scraped off.

Crewman - Airfix Robin Hood figure.

Shield - Brass washer with paper from hole punch to cover centre.

Javelin - Pin.
