| Minor League Callups |
| Each season, each team must callup two players. Teams manager has the choice to sign one player, both or neither. If a player in the minors is 31 years of age they are forced to be called up and then forced to retire, without playing a game. Minor league callups, not signed will go to Season Free Agent Bidding. Second chance callups that are not signed, will wait to go to SFAB and will not be placed on Offseason Free Agent Bidding. These second chance callups are turned free agents will be on SFAB for one season starting Week 1 and ending Week 15. If a second chance callup is not signed during that season, player will retire. If the player is signed during that one season he is now officially a NWL player. |
