Releasing and Season Free Agent Bidding |
By the Release Penalty Chart, depending on the players contract the team will get a 45%, 50% or 60% penalty for one season. (check league charts for details) Release deadline is the Thursday before Week 5. All released players go right to Season Free Agent Bidding. Each player released or not signed on free agence will go to Season FA Bidding. Each player which is released during the offseason release period, will be able to be added to the Offseason FA Bidding to be able to be signed, if not signed will be listed under the Season FA Bidding. When the player is in Season FA Bidding, the player will have no contract, with no salary or seasons. Each week at the same deadline as lineups, a manager can PM a bid in for player, the most they want to pay, this is one bid only and can not change or edit. Players that are signed by the top bidder will be on a one season contract and will become a free agent at the end of the season, or be able to sign a extention. When a manager wins a bid, that player will be added to the teams roster by the next week and will not stay in Season FA Bidding. If a manager bids and does not have the money for the player, the player will go to the second place team or go back to Season Free Agent Bidding list. The team that orginally released the player can not claim the player from Season FA Bidding, even if they are the top bidder. If there is a tie in bids, a counter bid will be done within 24 hours after revealing. Highest bid wins. If a bidder does not enter a counter bid the other bidder will receive the player. If both don't enter a counter bid, the player goes back the Season FA Bidding. Season Free Agent Bidding ends after Week 15. |
