Retirements and Retired Number
For a franchise to retire  players number a mananger must propose a letter to the Comissioner on the reason why they would like to retire that number. Any team can retire a players number to honor him,  but the player must have atleast played one game for the team and if the league Comissioner aproves the retirement.

If a minor league player is 31 years of age they must retire, by being called up to the majors and then not signed.

7-Team Rule when a player has been traded or signned to 7th team he must retire after that season, each -Did Not Play- on a profile also counts as one team.

Retirement picking is a option all NWL players have to extend their careers one to three more season. (check retirement picking chart, under league charts)

No manager may retire their own player or any player in the league.
