Injury Picking |
Each week the league will have 0-5 injuries picked. There will be 5 'injury pieces' with 5 'non-injury pieces'. The amount of players injured will be random weekly. The league will pick until the league picks a 'non-injury piece'. This then will determine the amount of injuries that week, or if there are any at all. Depending on the amount of injuries picked for that week, the league picks the teams to have the injuries effect. This will be chosen by all 20 teams in the pot, picked, then placed in order of the picked for the next step. The league then picks the positions for the injured teams. All six positions may be injured. The same position can be re-picked. The pieces are again placed in order of the teams picking and that position will be played with the correct team. Instead of 1 or 2 weeks, using the list of injuries (with the names of the injury) set by the league, two or three levels that come with the injury (read about levels in the next part of the rule below). The major injuries will be less, while the less intense injuries will be 0, 1 or 2 weeks. Using ages of the players, the league will have three different levels, for example, sprained ankle... Level 1=18-27, Level 2= 28-35, Level 3=35+. This is an example, but each injury will have 1, 2 or 3 levels. Injuries with one level would not deal with players ages in that it will effect all players the same. Two levels will be Level 1=18-31, Level 2=32+. Injuries with three levels will be Level 1=18-27, Level 2= 28-35, Level 3=35+. Injuries will be placed back into the pot, for a second player injury as the odds will be the same for picking everytime. Day-to-Day Injury (with a type of injury), will be a injury placed in the pot that the player that it effects will not miss a game, unless that same player is drawn again during the same year. If they are drawn a second time, they get the highest injury on the injury card, no matter the age levels. If a player is picked a third time during the season, and it is a Day-to-Day Injury. If picked a fourth time the same thing happens again. If a player who already had a Day-to-Day injury and gets picked for another Day-to-Day, the player will remain Day-to-Day and no injury will force the player to miss a week. |
