C.f.t.i.  Theory - 1

There is an Absolute Truth, Pure & Eternal. The spirit of Truth moves through language, ideas, dogma, creed, and human understanding like the wind through the lands. It is a spirit of infinite dimensionality, and one which we cannot entirely fathom or name. Truth is in a state of flux - as manifest to us. It flows on infinite planes through time and history and may manifest in different dogmas, creeds, & belief systems in varying degrees at varying times, though it is possible the degree of this change of state may be insignificant or possibly virtually non-existent over the ages and eternity. The degree of Truth manifest in a dogma, creed, or belief system, therefore is not static, but dynamic. Truth inhabits (disinhabits, and may re-inhabit) doctrine to whatever extent it does according to God’s will & determinations -
not ours. We may hold some portion of it, greater or lesser, in language or creed, but it is not bound eternally ‘there.’ It may seem to us to be a function of Language; ultimately, however, it is not. Therefore it is possible a doctrine or theology may actually be ‘more’ or ‘less’ True  - that is, it may embody more or less of God’s desire to reveal Himself and make His spirit available to us - at some points in history than at others. Truth can be named, though the naming\language-identification does not enjoy the Total fullness of Truth, which as spirit does not suffer such human language-consciousness delineations. What we call “Truth” is in the end a poor Earthly metaphor for something else .. Love maybe, and we certainly don’t possess that in pure form, unalloyed by sin and selfishness, here on earth. Absolute Truth does not conform to our perceptions, convictions, or our need for ‘conviction’ as to the nature of Truth. Though this need for conviction, constant throughout history, as to what is and is not Absolutely True does imply, and indeed is our best ‘proof,’ that there is in fact Pure & Eternal Truth, and which we will ultimately fully possess ourselves one day. All belief systems hold some degree of Truth, some more, much more even, than others of course. As certain belief systems will necessarily embody and enjoy the greater inhabitation of Truth than others, for this reason apologetics - theological discourse and comparison\argumentation - is perfectly appropriate, and a critical human activity. For in apologetics we are acknowledging a Final, Pure, Absolute, & Eternal Truth does in fact exist, and we are manifesting our need to determine and possess ‘as much’ Absolute Truth as is available to us. This means that some points of understanding will in degree be ‘right’ or ‘wrong,’ and it should be our business to establish as best we can where True Truth lies (so to speak). Nevertheless, what we know Truth as now may not necessarily be how it is known by others (our ourselves) in the future. For, what we know it as is not what it is in its essence. Our understanding of what is True is born of the earthly constructs of men (sic) and fallen spirits. Only beyond our imperfect human consciousness and language can we ever know perfectly and become fully ourselves what is Absolutely Pure, True, and Eternal.
