equiped to stroke
"something more useful...like our fucking instruments..."
This corner (corner indeed) is dedicated to people who wanna know all about the strokes equipment (*smirks* hehehe "equipment" aha yeah right...not THAT equipment! ew! hehehe *giggles and smirks*).  So what guitar's they use, all that stuff...i don't know much about Fab's equipment or Nikolai's so email me if you know anything about that, oh and i got this info from a guitar magazine, i'll just site that now. so here we go:

Albert: Albert plays an '85 Fender Strat, which is a remake of the '72 model (this has something to do with Al being a big Buddy Holly fan), this Fender is fitted with 0.012 gauge strings for a "fat, heavy sound".  His back up is a Les Paul Junior, which during sessions of Is This It, Valensi vaguely remembers picking up and having a pluck at, somewhere on the album.  Albert also had a Rickenbacker 360, and getting that fixed was in some 6 degrees how he met JP.

Nick: Nick the Stick plays an early '90's Epiphone Riviera, fitted with P90's.  "Its the best guitar Gibson never made." He Jokes. "fender and gibson never made a semi-hollow guitar with P90's"
oh baby i don't mind it...
whoa, back up.
mmmmmwah you pretty little guitared elf
Nikolai: Nikolai plays a fender...and that is all i know...

rest of the setup:
Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12's for said 'raunchiness', an MXR Microamp as a tone/volume boost for solo's, and a Jekyll and Hyde for distortion. ("I had the Jekyll and Nick had the MXR, and we thoght that we could both get some great sounds out of both of them, so we went shopping together")

That is all for now, hopefully Fab's world (drummers world) stuff will be up soon, but there ya have it, the strokes "equipment" (*smirks again*), you are now equiped to stroke.
