Dan
(father)
June 21, 1946
Dan was born in Burley, Idaho and graduated from Burley
High School in 1965. He went to the University of Idaho, where he earned a
Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting. He then joined the U. S. Air Force as a Finance officer.
He spent time in Greenland; Duluth, Minnesota; and Elmendorf AFB, Alaska.
After separation, he was in the Washington State National Guard for 4 years. He went to work for his alma mater, the University of Idaho in the
business/accounting department. There, he was famous for his oatmeal cookies -- a
big hit for all the office gatherings. Dan moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1979 and
married Ramona (aka Scottie) in 1980. He now works for Lawson State Community
College in the Business Affairs department. |

Scottie (mother)
December 21, 1949
Scottie became a part of our family in 1980.
She is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Home Economics. She is currently working as an Antique Clothing Restorationist and Designer,
focusing on
historic wedding dresses. She did all alterations on Melissa's Great Grandmother's Wedding Dress from 1908, so that Melissa could wear it for our wedding 91 years later.

Margaret
(aunt)
March 11, 1945
Margaret was born in Burley, Idaho. She graduated from Burley
High School in 1964; and with a degree
in English Education with a minor in Spanish from the University of Tulsa in
Oklahoma. She taught Spanish for several years.
She is now living in Georgia and works for AAFES at Ft. Stewart, GA. |

Heather
(Sister)
August 7, 1968 My
sister graduated from Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama in
1986. She joined the U. S. Army Reserves that year; and in 1988,
decided to go on active duty. She met and married David at her first
duty station -- Ft. Bliss, TX. She was deployed to Saudi Arabia in
September 1991 in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. In 1992,
she was honorably discharged from the U. S. Army. Her husband David,
received a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army in December
1993. They have been stationed together at Ft. Knox, KY; Ft. Polk,
LA; and are now stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA.
