LABAN CENTER - 28th AUGUST 2005
After the grueling 12-day NYT course at the LABAN Center, Creekside each of the 9 groups put on a performance to showcase their talents to the rest of the company. Each group had 20 mins to spread their message and celebrate the culmination of the course. The event took place in the Blue Bird Theatre and was watched by all 250 students as well as Course Directors, Assistants and NYT admin staff. The timetable of the event was as follows:

OUR PERFORMANCE
Throughout the week Roz and David made notes about interesting pieces and reoccuring themes that appeared during our work. They then decided upon a theme which they felt we could reflect well as a group which was "FLYING". At first the theme may sound like a hard one to create 20 mins of work around but once we got working on it we discovered that it was a very diverse topic and our work ranged from literal flying to metaphorical flying. Eventually I would like to include a short synopsis of our piece, running order etc. If anyone would like to write this for me I would be very grateful.
