Nocturnal Emission

I saw the sun rise this morning
In a dream
I awoke to you
Calling my name
Maybe that was just
Strings of subconscious
Snapping away from the
Latex underbelly of
Reality's brick wall
Wet suit existence:
To slip naked into the
Pool of dreams
Absorb abstract tangibles
Through the very pours
Of my skin
Don't wake me
I'm dreaming...
Luke warm water
On sun Kissed skin
Waking to your voice
Over and over again
There's a guy in a room
Who really needs a light
I'm sure I've got some in my pocket
Maybe one of them is yours
I need directions
Where am I going
Do you happen to know
There's a poem in there
Somewhere
Gone Fishin'
Pro prose bait
Waiting for bytes
Barrel full of keys
Mundane blues
Type A bored
Melodious odor wafting
My grill on cheese
UnKool smile
Daydreaming in my dreams
Pink waterfalls and 'urple flamingos
Blew trees onto tissue paper
High rolled glyphic phrases
Tumble off numb tongue
And dent wooden floors
Books of nonsense
Novel ideas pushed aside
I scream float
By and by
Lazy laughter lounging
'Round the sick no mo' tree
Show me the sea
Leak from both area o' laws
Fishin' schools teach patience
Dreaming of climax
Winged words swim along
Hook and net poetry
You’ve been served
