LETTER FROM DAN MILLER, (O-TOWN)
 
(Hey everyone. My name is Debbie and I'm part of the DCrew from Destination O-Town. JLo, Von & Val who I am and will vouch for the veracity of this statement and my connections. People who know me know that I am friends with Doris Penick - Trevor's mom. In fact, about a month ago, I hosted an on-line chat with Trevor - the transcript is up on the Destination O-Town message boards.
 
Angela Miller, Dan's mom, is also my friend. I tell you these things not to brag, but to give you some idea where this information is coming from so that you will believe the truth of it.
 
Angela contacted me last night and told me that Dan was very upset about some of the things that he had been reading in the Yahoo clubs about his girlfriend, Erin -- he did not name names. Angela has asked me to post this letter from Dan in some of the Yahoo clubs where I have seen people discussing Erin. This letter is from Dan himself, dictated to his mom yesterday (1/29). Please take his message to heart and respect his wishes. Thanks.)

Dear O-Town fans,
 
Wassup? This is Dan. No, I'm not kidding. The real Dan. This letter comes from my heart and I hope you will take it in the spirit in which it was written.
 
First of all, I want to thank you all again for your amazing support. Your response to our shows has been overwhelming. Thanks to you, We Fit Together is about to retire on TRL. Thank you for faithfully watching Making the Band and for continuing to support us while we are so far from home for so long. All that means so much to me.
 
I don't get to visit O-Town sites very often, but I recently visited some and was shocked and appalled by the comments made at SOME sites about my girlfriend Erin.
Due to circumstances, Erin hasn't been seen on MTB, and I tend to keep my personal life private, so I realize you don't know much about her. I'd like to tell you some things about her now.
 
Erin was my high school sweetheart. We feel blessed to be together again. She is beautiful, inside and out. She is completely supportive of me in all I do. She can't be with me as much as we'd like right now because she is in her final semester of pre-med at a very competitive university. The false and unkind things said on some of these sites make me very sad because Erin is an incredibly nice person who has done nothing to deserve this. I am madly in love with her, and what hurts her hurts me as well.
 
The O-Town fans I know are some of the kindest, most supportive people ever. The people who say these thoughtless things are not the fans I know. But they give everyone a bad name.
 
I'm writing this to ask the O-Town fans I know and love to continue your amazing support of us. I'm also asking that you treat Erin, as well as the other guys' girlfriends, with the same kindness and consideration that you've always shown to me. If you're saying these things, please stop. Even if you aren't saying these things, you can help me by doing all you can to put a stop to it. Please remember that the things posted on these sites are seen by many people; and the untrue and unkind ones really hurt.
